Professional, experienced, and very competent. What you expect, what you need, and what you deserve for your wedding or event. In our initial consultation with 3 Little Birds Event Planning we described what we were thinking and our budget, and not to mention our compressed timeline. 3 Little Birds Event Planning was upfront about the challenges of the timeline, but expressed confidence that it could be done. Venue and vendor options were presented to meet our budget as well as options and ideas that were outside our budget should we want to incorporate additional things. Planning any project and event takes a very organized, detail oriented, experienced and well connected planner/company. But when it comes to a wedding, you only have one chance, there are no do overs, and you need someone who will make everything happen. Jessica Smith (3 Little Birds Event Planning) is all of the above and more. They can handle all of the business aspects (contracts, vendors, schedules, timelines, permits, etch, etc), but she also has an artistic eye and design style that provided such amazing ideas and direction to enhance and implement our theme. Trust me the small details that you may not think about make a HUGE difference. With my work schedule so hectic it was impossible for me get decorations or run around doing errands. Having a full service planner was not only helpful it was necessary. The money I would have lost from missed work, by far covered the difference between a day of event planner and full service planner. My recommendation is to go with the full service planner... it gives you the opportunity to have your event and vision grow organically as you meet and continually consult with your planner... not to mention the time and headaches your save yourself, trust me you will thank yourself for it. 3 Little Birds Event Planning is established and has many vendor connections (Florists, DJ, Photographers, Catering, Venues, Decorations, etc., etc.). What I really like is the fact that 3 Little Birds/Jessica Smith doesn’t force or pressure you to use her vendors. We vetted her vendors and chose to go with some of them, and some we didn't. All the vendors she recommended are professional and established and we were very pleased with the vendors she recommended. The vendors we didn’t use were not because of anything deficient, but rather because we had existing industry contacts and already knew great photographers and videographers. 3 Little Birds worked with the vendors they provided as well as the one we selected independently and brought everything together seamlessly. On the big day, things could not have gone any smoother. I was impressed, as were all of the guests. I was able to be present in the moment and truly enjoy our special day. All I can say is thank you, it was a true storybook/fairytale wedding.

I decided to look for a caterer for my Mom's celebration of life and my internet search lead me to Thumbtack. After inputting my needs I quickly received a response back from Tonya at Sierra Madre Catering with a detailed quote and attached menu. When I called to speak with Tonya I immediately got a good vibe from her voice. She seemed excited and eager to help plan our event and made me feel comfortable that everything would be taken care of. I am so thankful I decided to use Sierra Madre for my event. We ordered appetizers and desserts and they arrived and set everything up, brought their own trash cans and kept the tables clean as people were done eating. The staff was professional and nice and their food was DELICIOUS! Many of our guests gave feedback that the food was great and they even ran out of business cards because a lot of people were interested in having their info. At such a difficult time with the passing of a loved one, these details are important but not ones you want to worry about yourselves and Tonya and Sierra Madre staff took that burden off my shoulders and I am so thankful for that. I will recommend them to anyone in need of a caterer for any event and if I could give more than 5 stars I most definitely would!! Thank you Tonya and Sierra Madre Catering!!

Ricki throws the greatest parties! Her events leave no detail untouched. Everything is perfect. And the best part is how much money she saves. Ricki and Special Event Genie have been doing events for my business group Wildfire Networking for several years now. We have annual holiday parties with sit down dinners and dancing to a DJ. Always gorgeous decorations, great food, good drinks, and at least 100 people. Ricki also arranges quarterly cocktail parties we call "mixers" and scores some great locations around West Los Angeles for us. Arash helped me design my retail gadget store. After dealing with a prior designer who just didn't understand my vision, it was a blessing that I found Arash. Just speaking to him for the first time you can tell he is a special person. He took time to really understand my vision and dreams for my business. He spent countless hours on the phone with me to not only design my store but to build a solid foundation for my business. Each element of the store was carefully thought out. He would always give me options, then ask for my input, and give his input. We spent about 3 months designing my store together and I am so happy with the results! I told Arash that I wanted store that is unique and cool looking and that is exactly what I got. Almost everything was custom made and the quality is top notch. Everyone who enters my business now is very impressed with the look and feel of the store. He treated me like a brother and my business as his own. Michelle was AMAZING and so easy to work with. She communicated with us throughout our entire event planning process. She was beyond patient, and really came through the day of when our caterer and food truck had forgotten some key items - and she drove out to pick them up! Joanne and her team were amazing to work with. They're a newer company and ready to go above and beyond to make your day happen. She was responsive and thorough, which made wedding planning less stressful and fun! She gave my husband and I a lot of options and were able to work with our budget without compromising the things we wanted. She connected me with a local florist and videographer. Their services exceeded my expectations and were great to work with as well. Joanne also arrived early on the day of my wedding to make sure the vendors were on track. E&M Designs run an event planning service and I hired them to provide the flowers and cake at my wedding. Working with them was very easy, they were available via text, phone and email and responses were prompt. I chose them because I was on a very tight budget and they gave me a significantly lower quote than any other vendors I contacted - for the level of service they provide I thought the price exceptionally reasonable! The flowers were delivered in great condition and looked exactly as discussed; however the highlight was the cake. Eimee made me a 3 tier lemon wedding cake that was both beautiful and delicious! All of my guests said it was the best cake they've ever had - moist, delicious, and with amazing frosting!

Dyana did a wonderful job helping me to surprise my wife by renewing our vows for our 25th anniversary. We are from the east coast, so some additional planning was required. We met Dyana, and a photographer, on the beach in Laguna. She was professional and responsice, yet relaxed, and truly took an interest in making our experience the best it could be. And as an added bonus, she's just a super nice person. I would highly recommend Dyana to anyone in need of event planning services.

This was the first time I worked Mari at 8 D.A.Y.S EVENTS and I noticed that she was very professional, thorough, and on top of every detail. She coordinated everything in terms of production - lighting, sound, DJ, and catering for the party. The presentation of the food was phenomenal and tasty. I was HIGHLY impressed with the additional furniture and lighting she brought in that turned the house into an upscale hot spot! Her level of expertise in planning the whole event was phenomenal. I feel she went above and beyond her inner call of event planning!

The Perfectly Event Planning Team was wonderful - I'm a highly organized woman, and didn't think I would need any help for the day of my wedding. However, Jessell offered her services and I'm so happy we hired her. I was able to enjoy our wedding and the entire day and just let Jessell worry about the nitty gritty and the payments and the time-line and getting my husband to where he needed to be! We couldn't have done it without her and don't know that we would have wanted to! I highly recommend Perfectly Event Planning to anyone who needs a little order to their event.

After months of looking for someone who could help my company put together one of our annual corporate events, we found Ms. Pratt at Pat Thomas Design. Working with her was so great. We were able to completely delegate all aspects of our event to her. She was impressively responsive and professional in all ways. She was able to deliver everything with enough time. Iris did so much for us to make this our best holiday event to date. It was a breeze on my part, she did all of the planning, finding the DJ and venue. We worked together on menu items, and were able to taste test in advance. The salmon was amazing, as was the tri-tip. Iris is also a truly sweet person, and I enjoyed planning this event with her very much. She was very accommodating, and delivered as promised. Thank you! I hired CJ or DJ Ceeej for my birthday party after hearing him at another friend’s party. I had to ask her for his contact and book him for my own event. He was very communicative before the event. Showed up on time. Had all the songs we were looking for and played an amazing set filled with the newest and popular songs to nostalgic throwbacks that many of our attendees haven’t heard in a while. He really took us on a journey through his music that I really wish we could relive. Luckily I plan on hiring him for my party next year! I highly recommend hiring him! He won’t let you down and his prices are pretty good for his talent. Book him today! :)

I hired Brittany and Betty, mother/daughter super team, for my garden wedding this past weekend. They were superb. I requested a lot of quotes and spoke with a lot of coordinators prior to choosing Fou de Joie; I choose them because from our very first conversation could sense they were very organized and meticulous with the details, a must for any successful event. They were extremely communicative throughout the process ensuring that all the small changes were recorded and planned for.
