JJ and I have started an intense workout regimen that quite frankly is kicking my a@%... but is exactly what I need to get back into shape both in muscle tone and cardiovascular stamina. He is at once approachable and friendly, he doesn't shout but will hold you to pushing yourself as far as you can go, and then a little more. If you are committed to getting into shape, I HIGHLY recommend meeting up with JJ. He is also extremely knowledgeable regarding nutrition and will literally answer any nutrition questions I have as often as I have them throughout the day via text in a very quick manner. I also really love the variety of workouts he has led me through: weigh training, intense cardio, interval training, boxing/martial arts... I'm pretty convinced he can do anything. Three things you should know: 1. You will sweat... a lot! 2. You will be sore... really sore. 3. You will have a good time through it.
Last winter I was fortunate enough to meet Paul and start my physical training program. I approached Paul with the lack of motivation to push myself to the level I desired. I wanted drastic results. I was ready to sculpt my body into top shape after having my second child. Although I am accustomed to weight training and competed in Division I college sports, I was a novice to Paul's style of training. I am constantly challenged by his weight training workouts which are infused with explosive squats, plyometrics, and sprints to name just a few. After six weeks, I had achieved more than I would have thought possible. The benefits included: a substantial drop in body fat (my leanest yet), increased overall body strength and energy, accelerated stamina, stabilized mood after recently having a baby, and sound sleep. After two years, I still look forward to each workout, and prepare for each session like I am pitching in the college world series, as he continuously keeps me guessing by introducing new skills and methods to keep my interest.
It has been only 3 sessions so far with Kellie (took the startup package). She was very comfortable to work with. I am being a person with lower back problems and very low level or exercise as part of my daily routine. But, she worked patiently with me and adjusted the work outs to suit to resolve my back issues. I have decided to continue with her. I will definitely come back and share my experience later.

I have worked with Aaron over the last couple of months and he's great! I saught professional help after I found out I have a hormonal imbalance called PCOS. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome occurs in 1 in 20 women, developing from puberty, it stole my life. I was overweight, with an insulin resistance, mood disorder, sleep apnea, hair loss, high testosterone level, and a high risk of heart disease and ovarian cancer. Since working with Aaron I feel like he taught me to gain back control of my life. I'm 40lbs lighter, with more energy and good health than I ever thought was destined for me. A big part of Aaron's program is paleo eating, which helped my insulin levels because I wasn't eating processed foods, carbs, or sugar. I also can't induce too much stress on my body because of the delicate hormone balance, my workouts with Aaron are helpful and stress free. We figured out what I can do physically and than slowly pushed me to higher levels. We do a lot of strength training, cardio intervals, and balance work. I never knew how weak my back was until I started working it out. Now, I have less back pain, more confidence in my bodies abilities, balanced moods, less acne and inflammation. In December I had blood work done and my insulin and testosterone levels have made a 180' change to normal. Working with Aaron was literally a life changing decision for me! I would recommend him to anyone looking for a healthy change back to basics!
When I trained with Gilberto, his plaque on the wall said "you will see his clients having fun". That sums him up well. I saw him for conditioning/muscle building and he provided the perfect balance between intensity & fun. If you're nice, he'll even teach you some Portuguese.
Gabby is very thorough and knows how to get the results you want. I am training with her to get in shape for my wedding and told her I did not want to get bulky- just toned. She created workouts that are high intensity interval that helped me get leaner/toned. I've seen results already and it's been only a month. I wouldn't be able to push myself to do these workouts on my own- so it's really helpful to have her to help me and make sure I push myself to keep going.
I've tried training with several trainers, and Lucia is by far the best on all of them! She would make sure that you're doing per exercise in the right form at your own phase. She won't make you feel like you're being tortured. Instead, she makes sure that you're having fun while slowly, but, surely attaining results! She's also very flexible with scheduling, she will accommodate you as much as she can to be able to support you at the same time in meeting your goals! She's super nice and kind too! Every time I train with her, it doesn't feel like I'm just training with someone, but, having fun while training with a friend. I highly recommend her for everyone to try! We do high intensity training and I love it! I always get sore the day itself after our workout and I definitely see results! You're the best, Lucia!

Mr Mac has definitely uses his knowledge of base metabolic rate, proprioception, core strength maintenance, and nutrition to help revitalize my temple.All in layman's terms! With this knowledge I've gleaned from John's intense workouts, combined with his never say never attitude, I have achieved my fitness goals in a relatively short amount of time. I've never felt better! I can finally go to the beach and walk with confidence. Thanks John.

I hired a personal trainer because I need the motivation and expertise to get back in shape and this is exactly what he does, he is a motivator and is very knowledgeable about his trade. He listens to you, works with your âspecial needsâ (if you have any) and regulates the intensity of your workout depending on your current health condition. He is what a true trainer should be, not what you see on reality TV or at a regular gym. I highly recommend him for people who are looking for someone to bring the best in them. It really feels like you are working as a team to reach your desired goal.
Worth every penny for sure. First, the facilities at Next Level Fitness are top notch and allow for variation in exercises. Equipment very well maintained. Lee is the type of trainer who listens to what you want to accomplish and helps you achieve that. I wanted someone to motivate me and push me and he was awesome at increasing intensity when needed while being very careful about avoiding injury. Knowing that I am a runner, Lee didn't focus as much on cardio. Instead, he tackled my weaknesses by focusing on compound movements and core exercises since I'm a beginner in strength training. In short, he is not a cookie-cutter trainer. The warm up and stretch routines he taught me have been very helpful in maintaining healthy and happy joints (specially since I run frequently). Furthermore, he helped learn how to continue training on my own beyond our sessions, unlike other trainers who just want your money. I feel prepared to hit the gym on my own for a while, but I will definitely be coming back to Lee. He is very flexible with his time and will go out of his way to accommodate you. Always on time, always prepared, very organized, and overall a pleasant person to be around.
Aw man, there aren't enough good things to say about Idrise.I am 18 years old and you might think what he charges is high, however, compared to the training you get and the experience he has, the pay is nothing. You will not regret it. I have been with him for a month now and i already see results. I am much stronger, more defined and am getting bigger. I originally told him i wanted to bulk up and get bigger, and so he told me what to eat and designed workouts for that. He is beyond friendly and genuinely cares about his clients.He does his best in making a schedule that works for you. Different workout every time and once again his knowledge is unbelievable. No matter how old you are, he is the best choice to go with. I will be signing up with him for years to come
Zach was great to work with. He knew how to motivate me with humor and praise and that worked well with my personality. I took comfort in the fact that he recognized when he could push me harder and when I really was at my limit and needed to take a break or switch to a lower intensity. Zach was professional and knowledgeable in the fitness field.
At the beginning of the year I decided to hire a trainer to help me achieve my goal of losing 10lbs and becoming a faster runner. I found Susie onThumbtack and hired her soon after speaking with her. Susie was my trainer for 5 months. In those few months Susie put together a diet that helped me lose almost 15 lbs and she helped me make healthier food choices. I only worked out with her twice a week but she made sure we maximized our time and kept me focused. Susie motivated me constantly. She knew how intimidated I was with many of the machines and the free weight area of the gym so she made sure to incorporate different equipment during our sessions so that I would be familiar with how to use them once I decided to work independently. Susie also incorporated interval training and plyometric excercises to help me with speed on my runs. Since I began working with her my average pace has improved dramatically. Susie was exactly what I had hoped for in a trainer. She is both professional and knowledgeable. She far exceeded my expectations.
Mike is the best when it comes to making sure you get the results you're looking for. He's dedicated and a hard worker, which makes you want to reach your goals as well. His training is intense and sometimes hard but every time you're done you feel accomplished. I went from 206 down to 185, this was done with the training along with the right food and snacks! Like he said it's a life style!
Marcos is an extremely knowledgeable and personable trainer. He is willing to work with you no matter what your fitness level. Each high intensity workout is designed with your fitness goals in mind. Most importantly he ensures you maintain proper form to avoid any injuries. Scheduling is never a problem, he is very understanding and flexible with his time. Every week I've seen the progress that I've made since the last. My waist size is down and I'm finally seeing some definition on my arms. Thanks to Marcos, I am more motivated than ever to continue on my fitness journey and keep progressing.
I've only had my first session with Ross so far but I enjoyed it very much. He's very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. His workouts are intense and tailored towards my personal history and goals. It's definitely not a cookie cutter workout he does with everyone. I've already recommended Ross to friends.
Ben is fantastic, finally broke my resistance to cardio and got me doing treadmill sprints with incline intervals. His dedication to come to my home gym and force me to do cardio then a fast weight workout has changed my perceptions of working out....heck he's even gotten me over the dreaded fear of leg days by diversifying my routine every time. I'm lost inches from my waist and have gained significant stamina now after training a few months....plus I don't get sick or dizzy after my sessions have stuck to his plan to better my physique! Ben is awesome, doesn't make me feel inferior when I can't complete a set or yell at me like some trainers but does push me when needed. I recommend him to anyone looking to getting back into working out and actually enjoying it.
For the last two years I have trained with Gus Lopez and have never been upset or disappointed by how he conducts himself or how he handles the training. He has helped me to add 50 push-ups to my max (so far) and to slim down (at my request) as well as gotten me to a higher level of fitness. He has always taken into account personal injuries and works around them - still getting in a great workout. Also, he is one of the nicest and sincere people I have ever had the pleasure of being around. I will continue to train under Gus Lopez for as long as I can and highly recommend him.
My experience with Cyborg Ninja is simply incredible. I was recommended by a friend who just kept raving about it at work that did a 3 month cycle with Turbo Jo, the founder of Cyborg Ninja. I was hesitant to try it out because personal training doesnt come cheap and I didnt think I needed it since I work out at the gym often. However, Jo gave a me a super reasonable price for a month trial run and told me to trust the process; i took the chance. 2 weeks into it I realized that personal training isnt only about getting direction, its also about getting a motivational push and a completely tailored nutritional dietary plan that becomes a lifestyle. Not to mention, he had me on a HIT (high intensity training) program that got me sore in placed I didnt even know I coukd get sore. Long story short, I highly recommend getting a trial run from Cyborg Ninja !!
