Jeff photographed our son's 4th birthday party at Pump it Up. Jeff was very personable and was great with our son & guests. He got lots of great photos including action shots with low light settings. He makes the photos easy to access within a quick timeframe. My only advice with any photographer is to set your expectations in advance in order to share the same vision. We will definitely partner with Jeff Rumans again in the future for our photography needs!
Erik worked closely with me in my capacity as Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University to conceive, create, film, edit, and distribute videos for various aims from student success to advancing various departments, schools, and programs. His videos are of exceptional production value and consistently high impact, in fact winning several awards. The videos were integrated into social media campaigns that reached large audiences and created recognition and excitement about our work. In addition, Erik was a trusted advisor in my work as Director of the International Institute for Species Exploration, assisting me again in both video and social media environments. His creativity, ability to convey ideas in vivid ways, professionalism, and sense of what works and doesn't in social media were of enormous importance to our success.
Tag is fantastic! Really creative and an amazing photographer. We have had him work on projects for the past few years and always have been really happy with the work he's done. Would highly recommend him for still photography or video projects
I hired Colin as a cinematographer to film a documentary on a noted SF Bay Area martial artist. Over the space of a two day shoot, he was able to provide us a wide variety of coverage that included intimate, close-up interview footage as well as dynamic action footage captured using his steadicam. Colin is both a gifted cinematographer and photographer who has a masterful understanding of composition and lighting. Colin's talent, professional demeanor and technical proficiency puts him at the very top of the list of photographer's I've worked with in my career. I give him my highest recommendation.
Jim was remarkably patient with my many requests. He also had great ideas about how to do the shoot, and the editing. I am very pleased with the result, at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TkeiL0wkm8
Working with Hammer Concepts was a breeze. Punctual, perceptive and professional. I contact him for cinematography all the time.
Elie created a promotional film for our Music in the Schools program. It's truly extraordinary. His work is filled with connectivity to our hearts and souls. He has a deep awareness of the human condition and conveys the emotional essence of the subject matter with rhythmic precision. Elie is a master and we are most fortunate to have him as our resident filmmaker.
A memorable, hard-working, high energy professional who always goes the extra mile. She comes highly recommended for crew positions, a Photographer, and Cinematographer.
We hired Dianne to film and produce a short documentary as well as some promotional video clips of the work our nonprofit, Honoring the Path of the Warrior (www.honoringthepath.org), does with veterans. This was an extremely important investment for us, and we are very happy with the results. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vdkTSZy0dU In general, my experience was that Dianne brings exceptional vision and professionalism to her projects. She is a very gifted communicator, cinematographer, editor, as well as a highly organized project director. Her attention to detail and positive attitude ensured success for everyone.
Herve was the Director of Photography on my character-driven documentary, Room To Breathe, which premiered at the Mill Valley Film Festival and which went on to win several awards at other festivals. In 2013, the film aired repeatedly on over 120 PBS outlets including in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, as well as WGBH's The World Channel. Room To Breathe was shot in public school classrooms in San Francisco over a four month period, a very difficult work environment with daily disruptions and numerous visual and auditory challenges. After trying out five other videographers, each of whom really struggled to achieve what I was hoping for, Herve arrived to save the day. He brought a effortless ability to follow the action and the lead characters, deft camera work, and incredibly astute self-direction when needed. He has a gift for understanding the emotional tone of a scene, and gathering the best shots and angles without upsetting the occasionally delicate moment. In addition, Herve is a lovely person, a genuine pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend him highly enough! Russell Long
Greg has always been my go-to cinematographer. I've also always been impressed with his photography even though I've not needed him for that yet. Always a professional first and hard working. I'm proud to have worked beside him!!
A really great cinematographer/editor/director. I'd really recommend working with him.
I hired Angel to film an event I was hosting a few months back and I am so happy that I did! Not only was he incredibly sensitive of my needs, considerate, and an overall pleasure to have around throughout the event, but the video he put together was so unbelievably beautiful, I showed it off to my friends immediately and they are STILL talking about it! Angel is without a doubt the most the most talented and compassionate cinematographer I have ever had the great pleasure of employing. Will definitely hire again! Five Stars!
I work to provide high quality images and videos with great lighting. I have a good knowledge of cameras and motion picture equipment from lights to dollys to modifiers.
Aside from the making visual deliverables, I also love to make sure that my clients are cared for with clear communication, so I stay in touch and make sure that you are getting what you asked for.
I am an experienced video editor and cinematographer with unique sensibilities and strong understanding of visual language. I am a recent graduate of San Francisco Art Institute. I have produced several short and feature length films that have screened across the country. Since graduation, I have been in post-production on my third low-budget feature. In addition to working on all the technical aspects of my films, I've also served as a producer, organizing production schedules, getting releases, and managing the renting props/equipment.
My work stands out from others in my field because respectively, I have experience in my craft for over 10 years. I've developed my style and to this day I am continually improving my process. In addition, I've graduated with honors from University of California, Santa Cruz in Film & Digital Media with a concentration in production. As a result of this, my foundation and knowledge of conceptual creativity and technical capabilities is beyond average. Besides my experience and education, I'm fun to work with and I'm easy to talk to.
