About this pro
Alesia has a great eye and was easy to work with.Jun 11, 2018Verified
Alesia is smart, practical, hip, and focused. She has an excellent eye for what works and what doesn’t, can edit your closet in a heartbeat, and can filter out everything you say (or don’t say) to come up with outfits and an action plan.May 10, 2018Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When I meet with clients, I like to get a sense of who they are, how they live and how that relates to their dream project. I work with their timeframes, budgets and quickly come up with some solutions. Clients are free to continue to use my services for the duration of the project or not. On an hourly basis, they can opt in for more consulting as the project builds, seek guidance and still have a chance to digest the many options presented.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?B.A. Architecture, UC Berkeley, College of Environmental Design A.A.S. Fashion Design, Fashion Institute of Technology, SUNY, New York Certificate in Construction Management, UC Riverside Board of Directors, US Green Building Council-Inland Empire National Advocate - LEED-Homes Worked in NYC as an Architect designing landmark buildings worldwide. Many years designing custom residential homes; interiors and exteriors. Worked as a Fashion Designer in NYC with designs sold in Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and featured in leading fashion magazines. Designer/Owner of Tennis Starz, tennis clothing for women. Sold in private country clubs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I enjoy color, texture, space and user experience. I understand the interplay of those elements and how good design can make an impact. I chose architecture as a major in college and then used my artistic fine art background to explore fashion and interior design. In my current practice, I blend all three as a lifestyle designer where I can create spaces, furnish and accessorize them with elements that are original and customized. I also do wardrobe consulting for men and women.
