FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am currently offering remote mediation services for $250/hour, and in-person sessions at a rate of $350/hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free 30 minute phone or zoom consultation to help you determine whether my mediation approach is right for your dispute. Preferably, this consultation is done with both parties. Depending on the complexity of the issue, I may ask that certain intake forms be filled out prior to the first session. The purpose of preparation is to ensure that our mediation time is used most efficiently.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Brooklyn Law School in 2012, with a J.D. and certificate in business law. During law school, I served as a debate coach for underserved Brooklyn youth, and won the CALI award for future excellence in accounting. I also interned in the New York Supreme Court, civil division, matrimonial part. I am licensed to practice law in California, New York and New Jersey. After witnessing numerous clients spend fortunes and waste years of their lives in litigation, I became interested in mediation. I obtained a DRPA certification in mediation in California, and I spent time shadowing skilled mediators to further hone my skills. I am committed to helping parties work together to obtain a mutually acceptable solution to their disputes at a fair price. My approach is to keep things simple, confidential, and efficient with the goal of preserving the parties' assets, reputations, and sanity.
