- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I try to quote the actual amount I will charge which is a minimum competitive charge, though there are exceptions such as; lower the minimum charge or give a discount under special or extraordinary circumstances. Increase of charge if after arriving on site discovering the task was not accurately described and turns out to be more work and / or there are unforeseen issues.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Make an appointment, meet on site with the customer and walk the job and gather as much information as possible. Discuss procedure, do research and make calculations, Write up a proposal and present it to the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a licensed contractor since 2003. My classification is a B-General building contractor with a Home improvement certification. Going on 35 years experience in all trades.
