I don't know much about makeup and always struggle with what foundation works best with my skin. Vanessa knew what colors to apply and the right amount of foundation. She's brilliant at knowing the right shades for skin tone. I should have gone to her years ago. Her recommendation really made a difference in my daily life and confidence. In the past I've always been frustrated with makeup artists who didn't listen to me. Vanessa takes her time with you there's no rush which is a breathe of fresh air. She's so kind and listens.

Alyssa was highly responsive from beginning to end, and remained a constant professional when we needed her to be flexible (as often is the case with unexpected changes at the last minute with weddings). She came prepared and was friendly throughout. She did absolutely great job with my hair and makeup. My only reservation was she was booked for other engagements and could not be flexible by staying later and that cut into the time it took to do the makeup for my mom. Instead of doing my moms hair I wished that time was spent dedicated on doing her makeup only. In my initial request, Alyssa was booked for makeup only for my mom so when she asked if my mom wanted hair too, we assumed she had time to do both the makeup and hair, and we did not think twice when Alyssa started with my mom’s hair first. My moms makeup was really the priority as I had requested. Alyssa did provide a $15 discount for the “light makeup” and I appreciate she did that. If given an opportunity to work with Alyssa again, I would book her again in a heart beat however my recommendation would be she clearly communicate given time restrictions on a day like; by asking if my mom wanted her hair done also lead us to believe she had enough time to do both. I would have preferred she concentrated on the makeup only as we had discussed prior.

Zorahayda was great to work with - she was super responsive to all my emails and questions throughout the planning process. She was very flexible in terms of timing for the day-of. She did my bridal hair & makeup, as well as 3 bridesmaids and mother of the bride. She was SO wonderful to work with. At my trial she took the time to understand what I liked and didn't like, then based on inspiration was able to create a style that was perfect! I got so many amazing compliments on my hair on the day-of and it was all due to her! I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

Wow... that's all i can say! Her work is beautiful and she is absolutely professional. very cute studio, clean and organized. my makeup -airbrush was absolutely flawless. I really recommend Julia makeup studio.

Samantha is an exceptional makeup artist who I've hired several times and will do so again in the future. I am a commercial producer and I've hired Samantha for shoots for eBay, Levis and others. Her work is top notch. She is always on time, hard working and delivers the look we are going for. She is a genuine and warm person who loves what she does and gets along with everyone. She has a great knack for connecting with her subjects on a personal level and if you've worked with her once, you'll want to do so again.

She was amazing. She did my hair and makeup for prom on April 1st and she did such an amazing job. She spent 3 hours working and making everything perfect, I am definitely going to her from now on. She was extremely polite and was easy to talk to and to get along with.

Lorena did an amazing job, I could not have been happier with the way my hair and makeup turned out. She came to do my hair, but because I was running late she offered to do my makeup for me too. It was super last minute, but she was still prepared and did an amazing job. My prom hair and makeup was on point. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs their hair and makeup done. Great job, and she was very nice. She was able to make good conversation and it helped keep things from being awkward.
