Living in a house with aging appliances, (kitchen straight out of the '50s, washer and dryer out of the '90s) you never know when things are going to break on you. Every time the microwave is used, comes a silent prayer that the chicken you're heating up isn't going to burst into flames or the whole microwave is going to combust. That being said, your prayers can only last so long, and last weekend our washer decided it going to be the first of our many appliances to malfunction. When I opened my washer after a load of laundry, everything was completely soaked in standing water. I'd never seen this happen before, so I immediacy called my landlord who suggested I call an appliance repair company. I found Viking Preferred Service as most people do (on Google) and couldn't have been happier with the results. The guys were able to come over within 30 minutes and didn't charge a service fee since they did the repair.I couldn't believe they didn't charge a service fee!--Most other companies I saw at online charged a pretty ridiculous "travel time" fee in addition to the repair. Being that I'm a woman who knows nothing about appliances, I've been taken advantage of before when it comes to repairs, but with Viking, I felt like I was given an honest answer about the problem and quoted reasonable price. (As it urns out there was a problem with the drive belt.) The entire process was fast, easy, and stress free. Let's pray to the appliance gods that nothing else in my house breaks, but if it does, I know who I'm calling
