Introduction: Music has been one of the most crucial and integral parts of my life since I can remember. Growing up, my home was always filled with music, and it continues to be so to this day! I got my Bachlor’s Degree in Jazz Flute from the University of Indiana and decided to pursue a career singing and playing in various bands. I have also been teaching voice, flute, piano, music theory, and songwriting for 35 years. I have had students on Broadway, in the LA Opera, and in many different films, TV shows, professionally recorded tracks, and performances from elementary school shows to professional theatrics productions. I have also been the musical director and vocal instructor for theater performances of all sizes.
As a music teacher, I tailor each lesson to my student’s needs. My goal is to help each individual find their own sound and what is in their heart, and be comfortable sharing it with others. I have such a passion for what I do and I build a bond with each unique student to help them find their own voice through music.
I serve both the Pasadena and Santa Clarita areas. I am currently exclusively offering virtual lessons during the COVID-19 pandemic.
