If you have 30 kids and only 2 hours, we do cheek art! If you have 8 kids and 2 hours, we'll go all out, adding gems, more detail, perfecting our craft! Pixie Paints was so awesome and professional. They were so kind and pleasant. My whole entire family loved having them there. I hope to utilize their services in the future. Pixie paints made my nephews first birthday something to remember! Work with them! You will not regret it!

Quote looked great but was too good to be true. Total price listed in quote was any hourly rate, which I did not find out until my party. Contacted Sam and she wouldn't honor the price listed in my quote, explaining on her vendor site it sate per hour (So possible problem with site). I would not have booked if I had know the "TOTAL PRICE" was not correct. I had tried calling the phone number prior to my event but no one answered or returned any if my calls. She did respond through Thumbtack. The face painter was actually from a different company and was subcontracted by Pixie Paints. The face painter's work was good however.

The face painter works regularly with us and has her own side business, which was made evident when she called (me) her boss, about the error that was made, so client either misunderstood or was misinformed. Also, there WAS a problem with Thumbtack website in the display of our hourly rate versus the total price given, which has since been updated and corrected. Client was offered free face painting for her next event and sent a voucher in the mail to use anytime within the next 24 months. Client was called back numerous times, and I will attach the screenshots where applicable (however I will blur the first 6 digits of phone number) - overall we apologize for the misunderstanding and I made sure the face painter painted every child in attendance so no one felt left out. There's not really much more I can do, I apologize for the inconvenience.
