Jiri in the office quoted 2 men for $80 an hour, or 3 men for $105 an hour. I gave Jiri explicit information and asked for an estimate on what he thought the final cost would be. Jiri said because of afternoon traffic, it could cost between $250 and $300. It took 2 hours, the men worked fast, wasted no time and worked quickly and professionally. However, Jiri charged $300 for the job anyway. Not the 2 men at $80 or $160 total quote. I paid the men $240, because they were good and it was not their fault but it was Jiri in the office I had the problem with. Plus, at this point, I was then told there was a $240 minimum. First I heard of that, and it should have mentioned before and been put in writing. I have my notes, no, never mentioned that. The men told me to take it up with Jiri. I was ready to give them a big tip but by then I was frustrated and annoyed. Not my first rodeo, Jiri. I've moved before. You don't get away with that. Stick to the quote, don't give an estimate of the job that is inflated and then try to stick to that, and if there is a minimum, put that in writing on the quote. Or was it possibly just a misunderstanding? In that case, you owe me $80. The service was excellent. They moved my 10x10 storage unit in Sacramento to a 1-bedroom apartment in Oakland, CA. The two movers, Amílcar and José, were not only professional and efficient, they were also mindful and respectful. They worked diligently and communicated very well. I will definitely use Larro's Moving Services the next time I need to move and would refer them to my closest friends and peers. Also, you can't beat their price! I hired harp for hanging art and moving love seat from sf to napa, my movers cancelled on me at last min on Sunday 23rd july. I found harp from Craigslist and he showed up in 30 min. When He brought love seat to napa I found I had a wrong key, he was at napa at 10 pm, it was my blunder but he really cool guy and offered his servicd to go back to sf and bringing a right key, we went back to sf and briougt right key. He also finished hanging art at my new apartment at midnight, he did not charge me either for extra driving to sf. ! What a cool guy. I am writing this review not only he is professional and know what he is doing but also he is a kind man
My original movers cancelled on us the day we were set to move. I called D&J moving that morning and they were at the house within 2 hours. Very responsive and saved the day! They were quick and meticulous about the job. Great people to work with. I would highly recommend them for any of your moving needs.
Our office needed a Conference Table installed. We hired Scott on Thumbtack and it was smooth sailing after that. Scott came in and installed the table within a very short amount of time. No complaints and will definitely hire him again if we need something like this in the future!
I highly recommend Ddt movers! They ensured our move went smoothly and didn't mind staying an hour longer because we had so much stuff and underestimated the time. It was really impressive to see how easy they made our move look! :-)

David was friendly, on time, and affordable. He brought two additional movers to make things go quickly and smoothly. Nothing was broken or damaged and he took the time to ask where I wanted furniture placed in my new apartment. I would hire David again if I decide to move again the future!

McGuire Movers is one of the best services I have ever used! Martin and his team arrived on time to do the job, and finished quicker than I had expected. His team of guys were so extremely helpful! They helped me pack and move extra things, and there were no hidden costs at all, especially for assisting us at the last minute! When they were moving all of my furniture they paid extra attention to detail, and were very careful not to break or scratch anything. They treated my belongings like their own. I would recommend their service to anyone in the area, and would definitely use them again in the future for any moving needs.
Chris was great, very efficient getting the job done and I would hire him again. The one note I would suggest to Chris moving forward is to be clear about price and offer a revised estimate once onsite. In my case he quoted $90 for a truck load, I asked if it was the truck in the picture and he simply said a regular truck. He arrived in a truck like the picture. I had a sectional sofa, a chair, small dresser and 4 stacking chairs and at least a standard truck load of debris. In the end Chris charged me $240 which was more than I anticipated but I paid the bill, Chris had done a good job and all my junk was gone. All in, he was at my home 1.5 hrs. After the fact he told me he charged by the truck load. If I had understood that going in I might have purged a few more things!
I searched for moving services on Thumbtack and received a few quotes from 4 companies, and after reviewing all the quotes and talking to my wife we decided to go with All In Moving Systems, why? - they have a good clients list on their Yelp page that has lots of great reviews and you can tell that these guys are professionals by looking at their pictures; - their page on Google also looks very appropriate with a lot of satisfied customers who left their 5-star reviews; - they had very competitive rates; - all inclusive furniture packing materials; During the booking they answered all my questions. They were prompt and courteous in replies and phone conversation was just a pleasure. On the moving day Tim (driver) called me about 40 minutes in advance and told me they were on the way. Once they arrived, they immediately started working, wrapping my furniture and disassembling my bed and desk. Unloading went smooth, and I had a POD container with my girlfriend's belongings that came from Taxes on a top of that, they unloaded that too. The only problem that we ran into was that my girlfriend's couch didn't fit through the doors of our house, but movers offered to lift it up using their straps and they got it inside through the second floor balcony, what a great performance!!! I couldn't ask for a better moving team, these movers are simply the Best!
Two movers (Alex and Martin) helped me with the move of my 1 bedroom apartment on the third floor. I didnt have that many boxes, but I had a lot of old grandpa's furniture to be moved and I was worried that would be too heavy for only two guys. So, I was really surprised to see how Alex and Martin managed to get everything in their truck in just a couple hours and didnt even scratch anything. Movers wrapped each piece with pads and were just flying! These movers are professional and experienced and they took a good care of my furniture. Their priced are also one of the best in the area! Highly recommended!

I had a great experience with this moving company. They arrived on time. I moved from 1 bedroom apartment and most of my furniture was heavy and antique. However, movers were quick, professional and they took care about all my belongings. Movers used blankets, shrink wrap, bubble wrap and paper wraps to protect my valuable items from damage. Also they helped me with packing which saved my time. If you need full packing services just let them know while booking your move. I definitely recommend this moving company!!!
