Chris McDermott did a major remodel of my house in Berkeley (including kitchen and bathroom), increasing the value of my home significantly. Chris can do nearly every aspect of construction, from framing to finish, and knows when to turn it over to subcontractors. Chris is accommodating, hard working, honest, and professional. He's also easy to talk to and fun to be around, and is able to help translate ideas and preferences into an awesome finished product while staying within budget.

Chris' craftsmanship and care shows through in everything he touches. Not only did he do an outstanding job repairing our foundation, replacing the roof, adding new plumbing, electrical, a new exterior and interior paint job, and a brand new hardwood floor while offering solid, thoughtful design suggestions along the way, he did it all with a friendly, professional ease and stayed well within our budget. We're thrilled with his work and can't recommend him highly enough!

Words can't express enough the excellent workmanship for Chris and his associate! From start to finish, my experience was great! Received several estimates and my gut feeling was to hire Chris. Work began on time as promised and was completed within the time frame stated. At the very last minute, they were generous enough to do extra work without hesitation. They purchased and installed a new toilet fixing a water leak. Afterwards, they layed new sheetrock for the closet ceiling and even patched a few scrapes here and there! When the time is right, I will ask them for another estimate to remodel a couple of bathrooms. Thank You!
