Well we were excited he responded so quickly! And quoted on the things I requested(oven cleaning, microwave, and refrigerator cleaning). Unfortunately when he arrived he wanted to double the quoted price and time. I felt he was trying to get more out of my wife than he had quoted, but that wasn't what bothered me most. He did a walk through with the homeowners and we reiterated that the stove, microwave, and fridge were the MOST IMPORTANT CLEANING AREAS, we would handle what he couldn't get to past those areas... He never cleaned the fridge!! Said he'd need more money and more time. Honestly I felt like he did some poor time management in that regard. He should have started with those three items and IF that took up "all his time" he would've completedl what we had HIRED him to do. That's what this app is intended to do hire people to complete tasks. Yes the home was clean but I ended up having to pay more than quoted. Did not receive the cleaning as we had HIRED him to do. Make sure you express to him what you want cleaned and expect him to extend his "work time" and expect you to pay for that extra time even though he didn't complete what he was hired for. I had to hire another cleaning service to clean after him.

I DID NOT double my estimate. I quoted $150 by phone, and at the time said it may take a bit longer. I conferred with the owner of the property once I arrived, and expressed that I would do the refrigerator if desired, but that it would take more time. It was agreed upon that I would do it if everything else was finished first. This was supposed to be a move-out clean-up, which implies that the place is empty for cleaning. Instead, the place was a total mess, with junk all over the place. I spent over an hour moving stuff around just so I could clean. I charged $180 total, and even gave them a break, since I was there for well over six hours. The only thing not finished was the refrigerator, which again, was an agreed-upon consideration. Check all my other reviews, and you decide who is more credible in their characterization.

I hired Larry to do a one time deep cleaning of my condo that I'm preparing to rent out. Larry was very responsive and showed up on time. He spent all day and did a very impressive and professional job. The price ended up being somewhat higher than the original bid, but the time involved took longer and was justified. I would definitely hire him again.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Service provider should be knowledgeable and experienced, capable of taking care of all cleaning situations encountered. Lack of care and knowledge can lead to substandard results, and even harm to furnishings and fixtures. Having someone who is pleasant and accommodating is also a plus! I like my work, like people, and am very good at my job.
