- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most typical jobs are interior and exterior door replacements. These jobs can involve fitting and installing the doors to existing openings or if it makes more sense removing old doors, jamb and trim and installing new prehung door unit with new decorative moulding.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently installed a large pair of hand carved mahogany doors. I had to mill all of the door jambs, stop and custom trim material from mahogany stock that I hand picked for color blending. I built up the unit and installed it at the entrance to a new local restaurant...Everyone loves the look!!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It would be good if potential customers understood that quality door door installation is a job of details. It is important to choose an installer that knows the details involved and will tend to them as they arise during a project.
