FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on square footage. With that said we offer a free in home estimate to where we walk through the home with you the customer. By doing this we can pinpoint the areas that need attention and at the same time educate you on our process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is pretty simple once we have established a date and time for the free in home estimate. The tech will send out an "on the way" text to the phone we have on file. When we arrive at the customers home our techs are well groomed and wear the Mr. Steamers uniform. The tech will introduce themselves and will provide a business card. Prior to entering the home the tech will place booties over their shoes. When inside we will ask the customer to give a tour of the areas to be cleaned and at the same time point out any areas of concern. After the walk through is completed the tech will go back and measure out the rooms and take pictures of areas of concern for documentation purposes. Now that all the data has been taken, the tech will send the information back to the office to where it will be processed and the estimate will be sent via email to the customer for approval. Once the approval has been completed we then contact the customer to set up the service date and time. On the day of service our tech will arrive and greet the customer and if needed ask if ask permission to park on the driveway. Now the following steps are followed. 1. Pre inspection of the area to be cleaned and put down drop cloths in areas where there may be transitions between carpet and wood floors or tile. 2. Pre vacuum of all carpet areas to be cleaned. 3. Pre treatment of spots and stains 4. Pre spray carpets 5. Start the hot water extraction/steam cleaning 6. Lay down fans to help quicken the drying time 7. Groom carpets 8. Customer walk through after service has been complete
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
