Joshua and his team recently replaced my old furnace with a new one in our “new” home. I feel obligated to write this review because I feel like he went above and beyond to help me! He not only was a talented technician but also had a strong desire to help. More importantly to me, he had great patience to listen to my concerns, and tried his best to address them!
Actually, my old furnace was not that old – it was put in by the previous owner about 10 years ago. The reason why I wanted to replace it was because I had to remove asbestos in the furnace room before we move in. As a father with a daughter who had asthma in the past, air quality of the old furnace was a big concern to me.
Joshua left a big impression on me on his first visit. He spent time to understand the current setup, patiently listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I may not the easiest client to work with. Being an engineer myself, I tend to ask a lot (I really mean a lot) of questions. (One time, I had a contractor who didn’t want to work on my project because I asked too many questions. LOL.) After the first visit, I gathered a lot new information about the old setup, and found out that the old return plenum was not sealed, which means the old furnace was drawing air from inside walls and furnace room. Joshua assured me that he would seal the return plenum when he put the new one in.
Joshua and his team continued to impress me on the job day. Joshua spent a lot of time to build a properly sealed return plenum piece by piece. Because it was such a small room to work in, he got some duct sealant on himself. But that didn’t bother him a bit. He just focused on building his prefect return plenum. I was totally impressed by his dedication. He and his team did a great job in putting the new system in.
On a personal level, Joshua is super nice guy to talk with. We had great conversations with many random topics. I am so glad that I worked together with Joshua on my furnace room project. Thank you, Joshua! You are the best!
