Introduction: I provide private piano lessons for student's musical preference in a variety of genres, learning style, and individual needs. My lessons also include additional materials such as music theory and ear training combined with piano lessons helps learning in music. I will let the students select music I assigned to them which ensure them to build fundamental skills. However, I will also let my students to pick music what they really want to play in order to enjoy what they are learning. I have been playing piano for 15 years. I enjoy participating in musical activities for which includes playing as an violinist in an orchestra, singing with choirs, collaborating with singers or other instruments on piano. I love seeing my student's progress and enjoyment through their lessons. I'd love to share my passion for music to my students.

Steve is the best of both worlds - a great teacher and performer. He is very patient and knowledgeable. I had a hard time with rhythm and musicality. His methods such as consistency at counting out loud had helped me a lot. Also he has encouraged me to be expressive when it comes to musicality. I was not a beginner but his patience and dedication would definitely be great for beginners as well as other levels and different ages. I truly enjoy lessons with him and I came to love music more and more through these lessons. He is also a pro in pop style! :)

Steve's Work Quality is superb! He goes out of his way to get great books for me to buy and use. He conducts himself in a very professional manor while being friendly. If I show an interest in a particular piece or type of music, again, he goes out of his way to provide something that we can work on. Don't let him know, but, he is worth every penny and more. Steve always arrives on time. He strives to be flexible in the times of his lessons. Steve responds to text promptly and always gives you plenty of notice of changes he has to make.

Steve is fantastic!! He is very patient and kind with my boy. My boy had hard time focusing when learning, but he was able to engage in playing piano under Steve's instruction. I would recommend Steve as an instructor to anyone. We are really grateful to have him as our first piano teacher for our kids!

Steve is an amazing piano teacher. He has been instrumental in teaching my son how to read notes and play the piano. My son never played piano and now is fluent because of Steve's influence and excellent teaching. I recommend him to anyone who is serious about learning how to play a piano.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My current standard pricing would be 50 per hour. This pricing system is reasonable and valuable that my lessons provide not only playing music but also basic music theory and musicianship training.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the first lessons, I will figure out where the student's level is. For the beginners, I will introduce basic knowledge of piano. For the students are experienced or musically trained in other instrument, I will create a lesson plans to the student's need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently pursuing master in piano pedagogy at Cal State Fullerton which focus on field of piano teaching and method. I had received formal music education such as music theory as well as a wide range of experiences in performing music.
