Heather was fantastic -- kind and grounded and knowledgable. She really listened to what we wanted and needed, and helped us find the few details that were missing from our main living space. She knew right where to go for the style we were looking for, and also suggested some things we hadn't even thought of. I also really appreciated the price range of things that she suggested -- it was all totally reasonable.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Our pricing is on an hourly basis for residential projects, and a flat fee for commercial projects. Each project varies in terms of scope. No two projects are alike. Generally we like to give an estimation of hours so our clients have a sense of what it takes to complete a project to its fullest capacity.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Our process always starts with a phone call or zoom meeting with potential clients. On this call, we like to get a sense of our client's wants and needs by walking through a "must-have" list clients would like to share, or a Pinterest board the client has been carefully compiled. We talk about budget, retainer, hourly fee, timeline, and process. When our clients are excited and comfortable to move forward, we set up an in-person meeting to walk the project and present our Design Agreement along with retainer requirements. Our retainer is 40 hours of design time upfront. This will allow us to pull together our Concept design and prepare for our first Design presentation. Our first presentation is based on Concept and we will have images, materials, and preliminary drawings to convey our vision holistically, and per space.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a Graduate of FIDM in Los Angeles CA. I have over 18 years of experience as a Designer. Throughout my carrier, I have worked for large scale Architecture firms, small boutique firms, and have lead my own full service projects both large scale and small.
