- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is standard and consistent for all cash patients. I am on the panel of almost all insurance plans and each of those plans have a different reimbursement rate that I have agreed to accept.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We spend the time to listen to the patient, in order to fully understand the patient's health problem. We perform a thorough diagnosis to differentiate the causes of the problem. We then explain to the patient, in a simplified way, how acupuncture works, the prognosis of the patient's problem and the treatment plan. We answer all and every question the patient has so that on the first visit, the patient knows exactly what is expected in terms of outcome and progress.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine. This 4-year degree included approximately 1/3 of acupuncture theory, 1/3 of herbal theory and 1/3 Western Medical theory. Additionally, 60 hours of continual education is required every 4 years in order to keep your license active.
