Why I love Shape Up Studio...There are several reasons. First of all, there is something about that gym that feels different. There's really good energy and the atmosphere feels relaxed and fun at the same time. All the trainers are so kind, approachable and very knowledgeable. I've been going there for a few months now and have gotten to meet Markshane. He's very dedicated, professional, and filled with energy. He takes the time to really listened and help you reach your goals, whether it's loosing weight, training for an event, or simply keeping an active lifestyle. I also love my 30 minute circuit class on Tues & Thursdays with Vinny. That class is super fun and you go at your own pace. Getting massages with Christine, the massage therapist, is also a treat-Especially, when it's in the same building. They have a nutritionist there as well that can guide you and keep you on track. A lot of the comments below definitely resonated and seems that there is a commonality: and that is a great place to train with the support you need. That is why I love Shape Up Studio! P.s. Awesome guy! Really enjoy our training sessions. He has given a good foundation of knowledge with working out and nutrition. I am enjoying this process to achieve my goals of weight loss. I needed to invest in my wellness and really glad I chose Rich.

Eric is awesome! He provides a lot of knowledge along with the training. I've been with him since Feb and I just brought my husband on board to have sessions with him. I am very pleased with my progress - feel so much stronger. Would recommend him to anyone:)
Lana has been a great personal trainer for my needs. I think she was a perfect match for me in the sense that she isn't as aggressive as other trainers yet pushes me further than I think I can go. Therefore I feel comfortable with the training sessions and do not dread going to see her. I have seen amazing results sooner than I had anticipated.
Dustin "IS" the best trainer!! He knows exactly how to MOTIVATE, ENCOURAGE, COMMUNICATE, and most importantly TRAIN his clients. Today was my first session, and while we were training he made sure that I was good. Each time I felt like calling it quits, his words and attitude kept me from quitting. For these reasons I will continue to Move Forward with Dustin, and I HIGHLY suggest everyone that is reading this review does the same and MOVE FORWARD with Dustin of course!!!!

I hired Tom initially to get in shape for my approaching wedding in Hawaii, which I then continued for 3 months after as the results were excellent. Tom pays attention to your goals, habits, metabolic type, and physical abilities. His diet suggestions and diversity in workout routines kept things interesting and fun (as fun as working out can be at first!) Tom's knowledge of CrossFit training, weights, and various other disciplines set him apart from your typical 24hr fitness trainer. He was willing to be flexible with my work schedule and was always available for a quick call or text. Tom provides encouragement, support, and puts together a solid plan to achieve your goals. I would highly recommend Tom for anyone hesitant or intimidated by the gym and or initial commitment of getting in shape.
I've been doing personal training since 2010 through many different trainers, my all time favorite was with Brittany. I went through a phase where I wasn't conditioned to training, had gained weight and wasn't use to lifting weights. The first time we trained together, I thought it was really weird but she made it of importance about my breathing and posture and didn't just get right back into lifting like I use to. A couple sessions later, I really actually felt a difference because she made it important to recondition myself and make sure that I breathe properly while I train! She not only made me feel physically fit, she was a great person to talk to, and made me feel great while I worked out and constantly pushed me to be a better person. I wouldn't ever want another trainer, and when I'm done with my break from training, Brittany and I are going to be back out there hitting those new PR's!
Where to begin! First off Matt is seriously just amazing and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. He truly loves what he does and cares about each and everyone of his clients. When I first started training with him I was around a size 10 pushing 12, after training with him for about a year, I am down to a size 4 and have lost a decent amount of weight but also put on a lot of muscle. He helped me become the strongest I've ever been in my life and become more confident in myself. He helps you understand what you should eat and how you should be eating. So it's not that he's just training you, he's also teaching you. I can't even begin to tell you all that he has taught me. If you need a trainer, he truly is your guy. He will help you reach whatever goals you have and you will love the training sessions!
Candon is the first personal trainer that I have stuck with- Now for over 2 years! I am already very knowledgeable about exercise and weight training, but Candon takes my workouts to the next level and keeps me motivated. He is a true professional that makes the sessions fun and challenging. He genuinely cares about his clients and knows everything there is to know about building muscle and avoiding potential injuries. I am so grateful to have found him!
Pete is great at creating ability specific strength training work-outs. He is always changing it up and makes each work out an appropriate challenge.
Being a D1 collegiate athlete and having to train over the summer to get ready for the upcoming season, I joined Jon Sanchez Fitness with a goal to improve my running form/endurance and weight training. Through Jon Sanchez Fitness, I have received one on one training where I have been able to improve in all areas. He has also trained me on the turf working on agility drills and sprints, and I have noticed a tremendous difference in my endurance and fitness capability. Out of the weight room and off the field, Jon keeps me accountable with my diet to allow my body to perform at its best. With Jon you are not only getting a fitness trainer but a life coach who will allow you to achieve any goal you have in mind.

Working with John is great! He's very knowledgeable on strength training and nutrition. And he comes right to you! (I can work out conveniently at the fitness center in our condo community.) Also, his price is very reasonable.

Abby made sure to stay on top of her cardio program as well, which was 3-4 times a week, including some HIIT (high-intensity interval training) cardio. She is so driven, and has put a lot of effort into her fitness journey. She began to have more energy and strength, wore a bigger smile on her face, and had more confidence. With her positive mindset and dedication to the workout program, she has dropped 15 pounds. I am so happy that I could help her with her transformation, and guide her throughout the experience. The greatest part is that this is only the beginning of her fitness journey! We are still training to this day, and she continuously strives to be better. I am so excited to see what goals she can achieve and how far she can go!
Vera is a very motivating trainer and gives excellent instruction and advice based on individual needs. I joined Vera's running group in April 2017 and later began strength training with her, and as a result have been in the best shape for the last 15 years.
Cody is the ultimate professional when it comes to quality personal training. I can definitely say he made my all around fitness exponentially better. His structured workouts not only allowed me to track my progress, but actually feel the results too. Time and time again he pushed me beyond my limits and really got the best out of me. My strength, flexibility, and attitude towards fitness all drastically improved after my time with Cody. Although we had to part ways because of distance, I would still recommend training with Cody to anyone looking for a true training professional. He will make you BETTER.
I have had a few different trainers before finding Brittney, and I didn’t have a great experience with them. I felt as if the meal plans that I was recieving were pre-made and not really for me. Training with Brittney, she’s provided me a meal plan that works for me! There’s certain things I cannot eat and she makes the point to form the plan around my tolerance and still achieve results. I have lost 10 pounds in two months of training with her AND gained 5 pounds of muscle! I feel amazing. I am still training with her and plan to. With demanding job as photographer, I find it really easy to get the work done and it’s all explain for me in the app. Best trainer I have ever had! Thank you for all your hard work! 5 out of 5!
All I can say about 1 on 1 Trainer is WOW! They are excellent, professional and convenient. I did a ton of research on trainers and 1 on 1 Trainer has by far the best prices for individual personal training. It wasn't even close! Not only was the price great but the quality of the workout was amazing! If given the option, you should choose them!
I made about three different appointments with different trainers and Bobby was my first apt . After meeting him I canceled all my other appointments!! I Met with him, he slayed me and had me break a sweat base off workouts of my interests and base off my goals. He didn’t waste no time. He Went right into the start of helping me reach my goals. After, we sat down went over my goals and nutrition plan. I left feeling so positive and great that I canceled my other apts. hands down and without a doubt that this is going to be a great training experience for me.
