Steve Gregor is a very unique person and has the heart and desire to help people from all different dynamic's. Steve will help someone from the goodness of his heart and the desire to see that person succeed and have a better life. I have seen him help a gentleman move out of his apartment when it was clear he had no family or friends that could do it. He invited this gentleman over to his house on a few occasions to have dinner with his wonderful family, so that he could feel the joy of being around a loving family and have a few good family dinners. He also helped this man regain his dignity, he took him to get his hair cut, and good clean shave and was able to find a nice sports jacket for him to wear. The difference from the day Steve met him to the day they walked out of the barber was amazing. This is not the first time that Steve has gone above and beyond what many people would do, he does this on a regular basis. He had on the request from a daughter that he had just met, left his house late at night to go say a prayer over a dying woman in a rehab facility. His compassion and desire to help is truly a gift.
He was wonderful! He is very professional and seeks to help the couple all along the planning process through to your wedding day. What's stands out is how much he truly cares about you. You can tell he does this with the intention of helping couples. He also did premarital counseling for us and we truly made a friend in him. He is a real friend who is there whenever you need him most. When a mistake was made on our marriage license (not his mistake), he was there to help work it out for us without hesitation. Overall, he was knowledgeable, helpful, and truly cares about the people he works with. We were lucky to have him as our counselor and wedding officiant. We highly suggest him!
Dr. Paul Joseph Yang is a tireless worker for the gospel of Jesus Christ. He has a heart for the journey of the Hmong in America. His doctoral thesis focuses on a theology of liberation for the Hmong that helps the community find hope, strength and resource through their shared history of Exodus from Laos to the camps in Thailand and after years in the camps, migration to America. Today the children of the Exodus, the 1.5 generation are raising families, seeking a spiritual path and finding their way forward while their children, the second generation are coming of age and achieving amazing success in the new culture. Rev. Yang provides resources for these families in bridging the culture; navigating the relations between elders, parents and children all of whom are struggling to retain important and essential cultural values while also adapting to new mores, gender roles, and the cultural values of this society that can be in stark contrast to traditional understandings. Skilled in navigating these issues, Pastor Yang restores family respect, dignity, unity and self understanding while upholding the value of education, love of neighbor and respect for all. I have worked with Dr. Yang for many years and witnessed his intelligent, competent, faithful diligence on behalf of the Hmong community and transforming hope we have in the good news of Jesus Christ.
Nancy helped me in processing letting go and loving well when my 18 year old daughter moved out with no notice. What impressed me the most was how she had the ability to draw out of me what I was looking for which was validation for my emotions and encouragement for my boundaries I chose to set do to the way my daughter left home. Nancy is without a doubt one of the best counselors I have ever met.
My wife and I started seeing Mr love about a month ago and he is great! I highly recommend him! Hard to find a good counselor these days!
I work with individuals, couples, and children. I'm passionate about bringing peace, happiness, love, hope, security, and self-confidence back to the client and bringing out strengths the couple's relationship already has and working through the struggles they may not be aware of. Often times, clients come in feeling stuck. They don't like their career, they are struggling in their relationship, or the past is now causing pain in the present. I enjoy being on the journey through the rough and coming out to a place of peace with them. I have special interests working with Individuals and couples experiencing infertility, First Responders, & Veterans. Therapy should be enjoyable! I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques in my practice. It's important to me to be able to cater to the needs of my clients. Every client is different so creating individual treatment plans is important to the success of the client. I believe the most difficult part of therapy is making that initial phone call. The rest is a conversation over a cup of tea!
Many other therapist say that they work with couples, but very few in this area were specifically and in depthly trained, in their masters program, to work with relationships. I was required to log 500 supervised relationship hours while in school. This is unique to the field and makes me more qualified than most in this region. Also I am a confident, direct, and interactive therapist. I won't just sit and listen and throw out a peice of advice at the end. We work together, practice in the room and get specific direct feedback about your progress as we work. Also, you don't have to fear about me advising you to divorce or break up. I will work for your relationship even when it's tough for you to keep doing it. However, if you both agree to end the relationship, I will support you through that process.
I work with clients who are seeking solutions to life's problems. Therapy can be your vehicle to exploring your direction in life, working through marriage discord, coping to a new adjustment or overcoming anxiety and depression. Therapy is a collaborative approach between the therapist and the client. Drawing on your innate strengths, we will work together towards a solution! I am Supervised by Dr. Sean Davis, PhD, LMFT #45885.

Whether you are going through a stressful period in your life or simply want to take steps towards personal growth my hope is to walk along side you in that journey. One of my main goals as a counselor is to offer a safe, non-judgmental, environment to explore your deepest thoughts and feelings as well as offer unconditional support. I understand how difficult it can be to open up and share your struggles with another person. While taking that first step may feel scary I hope it is a moment we can celebrate together. I collaborate with my clients to develop therapeutic goals in order to discover what may work best. While my approach is rooted in Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy I often use other tools to personalize the process for my clients. I work with individuals, adolescents, and families. I have experience addressing issues such as: anxiety, depression, self-esteem, family-related issues, self-harm, behavioral issues, major life transitions, grief, relationship issues, and personal growth. As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. Therapy is intended to treat many different types of clinical problems. A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is a mental health professional trained in psychotherapy and family systems and licensed to diagnose and treat mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders, individually or within the family system, in a framework of interpersonal relationships. MFTs are concerned with the total health and well-being of the individual and the family within a family system.Therapy is not a “quick fix”. I will work to help you find and improve skills needed to foster personal growth, manage, and overcome difficult life stressors. Therapy requires a commitment by you and/or your family to make changes and improve your overall mental health and well-being. I have experience working with children and adolescents with a wide range of mental health symptoms including anxiety, depression, attachment issues, behavioral disorders, abuse and trauma and I have extensively worked in the field of sex offending with adjudicated and non adjudicated youths. In 2010 I started Sac Family Solutions, a private practice that uses a variety of different interventions tailored specifically to each individual. During this time I have independently consulted for several different school districts to provide educationally related mental health services (ERMHS) for students in special education and social emotional mental health for general education students. I am familiar with mental health in the school system and with educationally related mental health goals on an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
