Nicholas and his team from Famous Creations are amazing! I am a wedding planner who found him on Thumbtack for my clients who were getting married in Sonoma. Nicholas was very responsive to my messages and provided a comprehensive (and affordable) quote and menu suggestions for my clients - which they loved! On the wedding day, Nicholas and his team came prepared and quickly set everything up. They were really on it - especially considering they had a big event the day before. You wouldn't have known it because they didn't miss a beat - that showed great character and professionalism in my mind. ...and the food...AMAZING!! :-) I will definitely recommend Famous Creations again!
This review does not fully compare to the actual experience of having Mimi as our wedding planner. My husband and I fell in love with her! I was referred to her by a friend a month or so before my wedding. You can imagine the details that needed to be done before that time frame. Not only did she take on the challenge of helping us, but went out of her way so our day was perfect. I live in concord, and she drove out 1 1/2 away to come meet with us several times. She kept good track of the things that still needed to be done. Her organization was phenomenal! Constant communication and support were there more than 100% (even for my emotional days) Besides the planning, she took care of the table centerpieces herself! Which were beautifully made with natural flowers on all 15-18 tables including our head table. Our guests, including vendors we hired were so impressed with her work, and most importantly by my husband and I. She found the best deals possible and made everything perfect yet affordable for us. Not only would we consider going through her all over again, but know we will continue to use her for future events and highly recommend her. We know that we didn't just find a good event/wedding planner, but a great friend that we will keep in touch with. Thank you again Mimi for helping us with our unforgettable perfect day!

Veronica was amazing!!! I hired her as a day coordinator for my wedding. I don't think she had a moment of rest from the time she arrived until she left. She handled the crises of the day remarkably and checked in with me regularly throughout. Did I mention that she also made my wedding cake, which was beautiful. She was just wonderful throughout... I enjoyed working with her and would recommend her 1000x to anyone looking for a Day of Coordinator.
Pam, and her assistant Alex, were a godsend. I have been going through a lot, dealing with my mom's health issues and trying to plan my wedding at the same time. Pam stepped in about 5 months before the wedding and kept me on track, kept me organized, called me weekly to check in, and reassured me. I don't know what I would have done without her. She never tried to upsell me on vendors, she just made suggestions and was willing to work with me and my budget. I have received so many compliments about my beautiful wedding, how organized, and how on time everything was! I highly recommend Events, Etcetera for all your wedding planning needs!

I initially hired NK from Paradise Parkway just for Day of Event Coordination services but when my venue cancelled on me exactly 45 days before my wedding day, she rose to the occasion and became the partial event planner and essentially my savior for my last minute wedding crisis! NK was creative, thorough, supportive, had my vision and best interest in mind throughout the entire planning process. There was one meeting when NK, the DJ/Lighting staff and venue manager were excitedly throwing out ideas about the space design and NK observed how quiet I was, she made sure to stop the chatter and check in with me to see if what was being discussed was matching to my vision. I truly appreciated this act as I tend to be quiet and pensive when a lot of things are going on. It was great I had an advocate for me! NK was also instrumental with making my venue space elegant and beautiful! When my first reaction to the venue cancellation was to find just a random hall to hold my event, NK highly encouraged me to look at the Sacramento Convention Center meeting room space, noting it had great potential. Im so glad that I did! With her creative eye and floral design background she helped turn the boring meeting rooms into and elegant and beautiful event space! She helped get a champagne colored draping where my fiancé and Is initial monogram was lit, she created a combination of centerpieces that included manzanita branches with crystals, fresh floral arrangements and medium/tall candles that made my guests tables look amazing! She also arranged floating candle vases and incorporated some of my nick-knacks and engagement photos for the Welcome and name card tables. She also went above and beyond when created leftover flowers into beautiful flower arrangements for my sweetheart table when she noticed it was looking bare, also added fresh flowers to my wedding cake! During the event, NK checked in with me and my bridal party often, ensuring we were on time and that little things were taken care of (i.e. informing me what catering staff were saying about drinks supplies, my 2 yr old nephew also poked my wedding cake so she turned it around so other guests dont see, haha!) My wedding reception turned out more beautiful and lavish than my first venue space! I had so many compliments from guests about the décor! NK is professional, competent, creative, detail-oriented, warm, kind and supportive! Not to mention, her services are so affordable compared to other event planning and design business! NK was a God send! She helped create my event timeline, facilitated communication among my vendors and checked in with me often during the weeks/days leading up to the wedding. What would have been a wedding reception disaster, turned into an amazing beautiful event thanks to NK! I highly recommend her for your event coordination/planning and design services!

We hired Clara to do our wedding. We were on a tight budget & it was in our backyard. Clara got all the yardwork done and organized everything. She maximized our budget by making all the centerpiece and bridal party floral. She worked hard to keep our budget and give us what we want. Overall job well done👏
Marjorie and her team were amazing. From the start Kimberley made dress appointments to all our guest hotel accomodations for 200 plus people to transportation with two commenrcial size buses transpoting all my guest. Kimberley was cruscial in all aspects of not just planning and coordinating but went beyond to give me peace of mind to enjoy all steps of our wedding planniong to the day of. Her eye for design is what made it even more special for us to feel we were not a cookie cutter wedding. Jane and Teresa are wonderful! They are really a one stop shop! Not only did they do all the flowers for my wedding but they also did all my linen's and altered my wedding dress! Everything they did for me really tied all my wedding decor together and made it pop in a beautiful way! I was complemented on the flowers and table clothes all night long! Would defiantly go back to them for any event.
Brie worked at our wedding reception and she was exceptional. She was in charge of managing the restaurant staff and she did a great job. She went above and beyond and made our special day perfect.
My experience was outstanding. Very professional, she is sweet and takes time with each client to make their vision into a reality. She's very detailed, has a natural talent, is a perfectionist. Anyone working with her will be very please, goes above and beyond. Very classy, luxury upscale wedding style and taste. Anything she touches comes together like music, is a master piece. She did an amazing job for all my events and the events I have attended to. I would literally change my event date just to have her do my decor. You don't regret it. Beautiful work!
It would be impossible to do the full schedule for our wedding without Valerie. It was stressful for us! But Valerie handled the wedding schedule & worked with vendors very well. Due to some things happening at the wedding that pushed the schedule and timeline out of order which Valerie noticed and she went ahead to change things so that they all worked out. For instance, the speeches went on for a little too long and we nearly missed our sunset pictures but she pushed the cake cutting back a little and we were able to have our sunset pictures. There was some slight miscommunication in the beginning but it all worked out and was successful at the end.
Bekah did an amazing job with my wedding. She was very well organized and not only was she helpful with ceremony and reception planning she also made sure I was taken care of. I had an issue with the dress alternation place and she called them and had it all straighten out. She also has great taste and is very professional. I love that she has really great ideas for incorporating what you want to happen. We were on a strict budget and she made it happen! I think having someone help plan a wedding is so essential. You won't regret hiring Bekah!
