I didn't have a big budget and didn't know exactly what I wanted, but Legacy Designs was able to take the budget I had and turn my home into something really beautiful. After a $10,000 price decrease on the sales price of my house, I was contacted by Legacy Designs to help me sale my house by staging my home. At first I was very reluctant, but Tina didn't pressure me at all, She just explained how staged homes sell faster than un-staged homes. I will put it this way - the cost to stage my home cost way less than the $10,000 price drop that I had to take before I staged my house. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We offer a free consultation for our home staging and interior design services. It is hard to determine a price without meeting with the client, seeing the space and talking about budget. Therefore, we offer a free consultation. We understand budgets and there are ways that we can accomplish a lot with any budget. It just a matter of having meeting the client and just talking out what the client wants are and their vision. Please note that because of how the instant match is set-up the prices stated are subject to change based on the clients individual project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?During the initial consultation it is all about communication and getting to know the client. It's amazing how much you can learn about someone just by talking to them and asking questions. This makes our job easier because not all clients know exactly what they want or maybe they do and just don't quite know how to communicate their vision. So we are trained to ask the pertinent questions. Also, during the consultation we will discuss time-frames, budget and how involve the client wants the stager or designer involved. A second appointment will be set-up for a couple of days later and this is where the fun really starts! The "design/staging plan" will be revealed. The designer/stager will go over everything from top to bottom about your project. Samples; paint color; pictures; etc will be presented. Anything that will help the client vision the amazing transformation about to happen. The budget and timeframe will be discuss and once approved the project will begin. We will just ask for a 50% deposit up front and when the project is complete and the client is completely happy is when the final payment will be due.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?All of our staff is accredited staging and design professionals. Also, required of our designers and stagers is that they complete at least 12 hours of continuing education; maintain a subscription of 3 home design publications; and post 2 blogs on a related topic every month. Just as important as the professional training we conduct two customer service training annual. We strive not only on the professionalism of our staff but their excellent customer service.
