Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: A genuine, honest technician goes a long way. I’m good at what I do, and I handle each repair with professionalism, attentiveness, responsiveness, fairness, and understanding. If (on the rare occasion) a situation arises where I am unable to resolve your issue, you’ll pay nothing for my visit. So there’s zero risk. This feels like more like a hobby than a job. I have a natural passion for technology and finding solutions to technical issues that people face.

I had tried to resolve my printer problem myself since it was a common problem - but this time my self repair failed. Within minutes of my contacting Chris via Thumbtack I had an appointment. He looked at it, immediately identified the fix necessary to resolve the problem, and fixed it. His pricing was in line with other repairs I have had done in the past. P.S. The printer now works perfectly.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with customers in corporate, medical, and residential. I will respond to any request whether it be your home, office, or anywhere you choose (such as a local Starbucks).

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently completed a P2V (Physical to Virtual) conversion of a corporate network which includes 30 physical machines, a firewall, Remote Access, and Virtual Private Network. All 30 servers were converted to Virtual machines and consolidated down to a single Dell PowerEdge machine with VMware vSphere. I am currently working on the second phase of this project which involves the addition of a second Dell PowerEdge machine and a shared storage SAN. Along with VMware Motion and VMware High-Availability, live virtual machines running on one server can be automatically transferred to the second physical server in the event of a hardware failure or necessary hardware maintenance of the Dell PowerEdge machine. This significantly reduces down-time and costs associated with maintenance and hardware failures. It also allows regular maintenance to occur during business hours, eliminating the need to hire after hours IT staff.
