Jung's Piano Lessons
Introduction: I believe that anyone can learn the piano with the right instruction and encouragement. My goal is to make the learning experience fun and exciting!
In the lesson, I will cover fundamentals essential to playing the piano such as proper hand positions, posture, finger exercises, etc. In addition, I will cover fundamentals in theory such as rhythm, note reading, and ear training.
For the more experienced students, I will cover areas such as advanced finger techniques, dynamics, phrasing, and character.
I realize that not every person's goal is to become a concert pianist. Therefore, the lessons will largely depend on what you, the student, ultimately wishes to achieve.
I am dedicated to providing a fun, positive, and encouraging environment to learn music!

I took lessons with Michael Jung for about a year, right up to me moving into a different state. I learned a tremendous amount during these lessons and made a great deal of progress within the timespan of a year. Michael is a very experienced musician, and has a great ear for subtlety. I learned music theory, technique, dynamics, scales, and much more. Michael also challenged me frequently, which allowed me to learn much more in a year than I might have otherwise in a standard course. I also found the lessons to be a lot of fun, making it easier to practice on my own and show up for lessons week after week. Perhaps most importantly, Michael is a very good, kind person. He has a lot of patience and is personally invested in everything he does. I am really grateful to have had Michael as a teacher.
