We made the decision last minute to hire a choreographer for our first dance. Crystal was able to choreograph a dance we could learn quickly and it was beautiful. Working with her was a ton of fun and her pricing was very reasonable. I would recommend her to anyone needing or wanting dance lessons.

Michelle is truly a magician. My fiance and I are taking lessons in preparation for our first dance and not only are her dance skills & teaching skills great but she is always punctual (maybe even a little early which is a-okay!) and comes with a great attitude no matter what type of day she has had or how tired she may be. Highly recommend her!

My confidence was greatly improved by my lessons with Roxx Anna. As a lead, my goal is to make my dances fun and entertaining for my follows. Roxx Anna's ability to break down each step and movement helped me build that much needed confidence. Social dance outings with Roxx Anna were some of the highlights where my dancing greatly improved. I was able to confidently ask other girls to dance and practice what I learned. Overall, my learning experiences with Roxx Anna have been amazing! I highly recommend Roxx Anna--especially if you are looking to improve your swag ;)

It does not get better than these guys. We left our dance lessons till a week before wedding but still had high ambitions ( go figure) and somehow these two pros (not just in dancing but in kindness and communication...and realism) helped us achieve our dream dance in a realistic and effortless way. As a bride to have a professional actually behave professionally and take a burden off your shoulders and not just meet but exceed your high expectations the way they did is something I will forever be grateful for.

Arianna is a great dance instructor. She was very prompt in her communication to me and was able to choreograph a dance with very short notice. I enjoyed my session with her and had a lot of fun learning my dance for my husband on our wedding day. She was very helpful and open to making changes that I needed or wanted. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of dance lessons!

Having met Elisa a couple of years ago after she moved to San Diego, I began to take supplemental dance lessons with her from time to time. Now, she is my primary partner in ProAm dance competitions. Elisa has found a way to motivate me to continue to improve my performance quality while making the dance experience fun. She has a gift for sensing what teaching methods get through to each student, as we all learn in different ways, without making lessons into rote drudgery. She also can sense when a student is getting overwhelmed my technique and knows when to back away and reinforce what you already know first before moving on to the newest concept. I have seen my ability as a competitive and social dancer improve more quickly with Elisa than with any other dance instructor with whom I have worked over the past six years.

Ally, is a great person.dancer and teacher. We meet her back in 2016 in a park class, they did a competition and won; after that she didn't return to teach at the park(sad). But my daughter wanted to keep dancing, we look for some places and try but didn't like it. So I was following Ally in Instagram and reach at her about private lessons and we are happy with her.

I have been with Phill:s Ballroom Dance Studio for 25 years. This is a great studio if you are thinking of taking lessons. The staff is professional and dedicated to their students. The basic ballroom training is the best you can find. The studio is relaxing and fun. The practice dances give you extra opportunities to get individual instruction. The group classes help you make new friends. I highly recommend this studio.

About

I danced and gave instruction in classical ballet for 15 years. At present, I have a wonder stretch class running and would love to work with dancers again. I'm 55.

About

I teach dancers who are willing to learn no matter what the level. I, myself, competitively danced for 12 years. I have also been dancing professionally for 4 years. I have performed at award shows, received numerous dance awards, danced for many hip-hop and contemporary companies throughout my dance career and danced for a shoe company. I have been teaching dance throughout California for the past 4 years. I enjoy teaching students of all ages. I continue to train with many dance companies throughout the LA area to keep my students up to date on what is new. When teaching, I focus not only on the technique of the dance but also they style. It is very important to not only master the moves but to also bring the dance to life.

About

Urban Ballroom is based on the L.A. cha-cha. We teach partner dancing to smooth and easy R&B music. It's easy to learn and offers excellent opportunity for exercise and socializing with the grown and sexy folks.

About

While maintaining a structured dance environment with discipline and elegance, I welcomly embrace all kinds of self expression, when it comes to different dance styles. Personally, I have had many dance goals, one of which was to be able to complete the courses of tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, and Scottish dance by the time I turned 16, from the basics of ballet right up to the difficulties on point. I worked hard into the night to choreograph my team's recitals and to achieve my goals while still having fun every second of the way. I believe every young girl should be taught how to carry themselves and know their body and the way it moves and what it can do from a young age, and in time, they will never lack the class and pose all young women should have.

How much do dance lessons cost?

Adults who want to learn to dance, whether to prepare for a wedding or to meet new people, often enjoy taking dance lessons from an experienced dance instructor. Instructors may offer classes one-on-one to individual students or couples, or to small groups. The national average cost for a dance instructor ranges from $30 to $50. Some studios offer a discounted introductory lessons or group lessons, as well as package deals that are more affordable than paying for individual lessons.
