FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is usually done by the project however in rare cases a hourly rate is agreed upon.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key to any successful relationship. I view each and every customer as more than just a business transaction - we are establishing a relationship and to do that we need to communicate honestly and openly. To this end, we start by discussing your project and it's unique needs, your expectations, and the final product. From there we progress to and through the design or photo process ending with a final product you are happy with. A typical photo shoot goes something like this: 1) We talk before the shoot to exchange ideas, shoot locations and nail down the final look you are expecting; 2) After agreeing on a date, time and location we'll meet there to complete the shoot. Before we start I'll ensure you are comfortable with what we are going to do, relay what I have planned and then finalize any last minute thoughts or ideas either of us have; 3) After the shoot I can provide you with the final unedited photos right there in the field on a USB drive you've brrought; 4) I'll return to the photolab and upload all of the raw photos to a private website for you to review. While you are reviewing them I'll find the best photos of the group, apply the digital procesing necessary and post those to a second private website for you to review. 5) You'll provide me with a list of any photos you like which are different from the ones I've chosen and I'll process those as well. 6) I provide you with the final photos in a format of your choice (online upload to DropBox or Google Drive, USB drive, DVD etc).
