I should say that I’m more than happy with the quality of the build for my utility 5x8 deck with safety railing and steps on the steep concrete hill. Despite the quite difficult location for the structure, Javier quickly understood the scope of the work, asked the right questions to make sure the design meets my expectations and is up to the building code. In my case it was an important aspect as other candidates pushed me to inflate of the scope for the project, rather than listen to what I need. The structure was built pretty quickly and turned out to be looking very good. The results definitely exceeded my expectations (and eng-design drawings). The city inspector was happy with the structure as well. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Ayuuk Construction to others."See more

Fernando is an excellent craftmanship, and he has a great eye for design tradeoffs. My husband loved Fernando's work and the precision with which he handled very tricky angled steps and railing design/construction puzzles. That was high praise, given my husband designed and oversaw the building of our massive decks 10 years ago. Fernando's responsiveness was wonderful. He came immediately when the 2023 storm was dripping water through the roof into my home office, and the 2021 skylight was dripping water into the living room.
