Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Passage and Refuge reflects on the idea that we’re either in motion – in process, so to speak – or, perhaps in need of stillness, where we can absorb and integrate what we’ve just experienced. At Passage & Refuge, we leverage the Vedic wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda, the Chinese energy practice of QiGong, and the archaic techniques of Shamanism to help you with either – or both – of these important states of being. We integrate holistic approaches to provide you with whole mind body and spirit healing. I love bringing yoga and QiGong to folks who have either never experienced these practices or felt they were too weird and inaccessible. I am also skilled at bringing new and deeper experiences of yoga to those who have an established practice. Yoga is a rich and satisfying physical practice that opens the door to much deeper states of awareness and vitality. Depending on the need, a wide range of experiences are available. For beginners, I offer a clear and satisfying introduction. To experienced practitioners, I offer surprising new depths of experience from everyday, common asanas. “Feel Awesome!” QiGong is a new spin on an ancient practice. The whole point of “Feel Awesome!” QiGong is to feel awesome doing it, and to feel awesome afterwards. QiGong is typically a really weird and inaccessible practice for beginners, but “Feel Awesome!” QiGong is different – you’ll feel the vitalizing power right away. It’s a little like yoga, only with a deep focus on internal awareness and sensation. It can help you feel great, help heal strained body parts, or even soothe deep emotional wounds. And, you can do it any time, in any circumstance, to help alleviate stress and enhance vitality. If you can breathe, you can do “Feel Awesome!” QiGong.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I do have set prices for the specific services listed on my website, but since clients here on thumbtack have slight different requests, I do my best to adjust my offers appropriately. I'm happy to work with folks if they need some pricing flexibility.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For healing, coaching, or counseling clients, I like to meet first for coffee or tea to see if it's a good fit for us to work together. It's a worthwhile 30 minutes or so just so we can meet, discuss your needs, and determine if we think I can help you. For yoga or qigong, we can usually just jump in. If you want to check out my teaching style I encourage you to come to one of my public classes (check the calendar at PassageAndRefuge.com for times and details).

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with clients that have suffered from: Depression Arthritis Chronic fatigue Skin conditions Allergies Sciatica Irritable bowel syndrome PTSD And more. I've also helped folks work through, emotional blocks, sadness, anger, distracted energy, life changes, grief and loss, and so on. So often physical and emotional/psychological conditions are inter-twined. It's a privilege and an honor to do this work helping people find healing and growth.
