FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is decided upon the other professional cellists in the Los Angeles area. Generally, lessons run about $75-150/lesson. I am from a mind set that all of us have bills, children to feed, and partners to take care of, therefore I try to be reasonable with my pricing, but to understand that I am a professional and I have had great success with my students.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new client comes to the lesson, I ask general questions regarding how much to they know the instrument and/or how long have they been playing. Do they read music? Do they know the major composers? And then I ask them if they have questions for me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Master's Degree in Cello Performance, also my Bachelor's degree as well. I have won local competition, I have been to several Music Camps, I have studied with great cellists.
