Drew and Benny(sp?) called if they can come earlier since they were available. They rolled up in a pick up truck with a huge trailer. It took almost 2 hrs to load, mainly our big items (beds, dressers, mattresses, dining table+chairs, book shelves, and some boxes and storage bins). It took about an hr. to unload. They were professional AND what we love best was their attitude. It made our "stressful" moving time bearable. Thank you so much for your service!! They have THE best deal!! Will definitely hire again, and recommend their moving service.

We hired crossing the Jordan moving and storage to move our pool table. Even though, it was moving within our property, it was not an easy move! They did a fantastic job and were very professional. We would definitely hire them again.

Everything went smoothly on the move. Movers showed up promptly at 8:15 for an 8:30 move. It took 2 movers just under 4 hours to move our 1 bedroom apartment. They charged the rate as quoted with no hassle on any of the work they did. Packing materials such as the blankets and shrink wrapping on the tables and bed frames were used accordingly and the assembly and disassembly of the furniture was done quickly. These guys don't milk their time at all and work effectively. I'd use them again in the future no questions asked. Just for reference we pre-packed all of our items into boxes and they moved all the boxes and did the dissemble and reassemble of the bigger furniture pieces. Pleasant people who all smelled nice and looked the clean part. Yeah they did ask for a little more tip at the end but I haven't had a mover yet who hasn't asked for more tip so I didn't think it was out of the ordinary. (These guys asked very politely)

John and is crew were great. They arrived on time and packed up everything good so nothing was broken or scratched on the other end. They were even able to move my air hockey table that was 4'x8' and over 400 pounds. My move was 150 miles away and many of the quotes I got were really high. I couldn't see how it could cost that much. John's quote was right on the money. He explained how long he thought it would take to pack everything up and unpack. He explained how the drive time worked as well. I would use them again if I needed to move again.

After we decided to move from CA to PA - we had to find a very good moving company. Budget was not my concern. I was willing to pay a good amount just to make sure the safety of my valuables. The glass shelves, Victorian sofa, piano, pool table and the crystal ware worried me a lot. So, I decided on the best in business which was American Choice Van Lines movers. They proved my decision a worthy. Yes on thing more was that this decision was taken on the basis of many good reviews I read online about American Choice. These guys have packed, moved and setup all my stuffs within a very quick time and without damaging anything!! I checked the inventory and did not even get the tiniest of chances to complain. This spoke large volumes in pertinence to their good work and ability to transport goods in an organized manner. Yes, American Choice Van Lines was expensive than the other ordinary companies but they have justified what they charged. Thanks guys, you were great and I would definitely hire you again if I would ever need moving assistance. Take Care and thank you once again you chaps were remarkable.

How much does it cost to restore a pool table?

Keeping your pool table in prime condition both protects your investment and makes it more fun to play. If your billiards table has been damaged by age or player misuse, experienced pool table repair pros are ready to help. The average national cost to hire a pool table specialist is $330-$400, but pricing can vary depending on how much restoration work needs to be done and the type and cost of materials you need. Depending on the type of pool table you want, the cost to buy one new can range from $1,000 to $5,000 and up, so investing in upkeep every few years makes good financial sense. Common pool table repairs include refelting the table, replacing cushions and cushion rubber that is has deteriorated or been damaged, installing new pockets or replacing damaged pockets, and fixing chips or smoothing uneven slate. You can also have wood pool tables refinished to restore them to their former luster, which may start around $600 and go up, depending on size, wood type and necessary repairs. Pool table repair pros can level an uneven table, repair broken leg mounts and address other foundational issues. Pool table repair pros can also fix coin-operated parts for commercial tables.

How much does it cost to replace pool table felt?

Owning a pool table, whether for pleasure or business, means investing in upkeep. Keeping the felt in good condition is important to ensure not only appearance but a smooth game. The national average cost to hire a pool table repair professional ranges from $330 to $400. A quality pool table is a major investment, so you want to hire a pro who is experienced and comes with glowing references. Refelting a pool table is a specialized skill calling for technical tools, competence with slate smoothing and repair, and the ability to provide a precision application of the felt that won’t hinder play.

When well cared for, pool table felt can last up to a decade; pros recommend replacing your pool table felt every three years or so, more often if you play heavily. Refelting and pool table repairs can cost more for antique and custom pool tables. Commercial pool table owners are wise to have multiple pool tables repaired at one time, as they can often get discounts for volume work.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
