Mindy was so great with our son in helping him with his singing. Not having had any voice training, and having to sing a solo in a play, he was very anxious about taking voice lessons. After the first lesson he was very happy and thrilled with Mindy's approach to the voice training. She was patience, very insightful and gave him some great techniques to use to stay within his range and meet some notes that he had to hit. She even gave him pointers on how to combat stage fright. Our 14 year old son gives her 5 stars too and that's saying a lot. We would highly recommend Mindy for voice training!
David Williams has given guitar lessons to our son for many years. We have the highest regard for his teaching and his overall positive influence. David is a highly talented musician and a gifted teacher. Our son has great respect for David's musical knowledge and his thoughtful mentoring--and we do as well. David provides very sound guidance and also works to help students achieve their own specific musical goals. David is a great person and a very fine teacher, and we're pleased to give him our highest recommendation.
Donna is a great teacher for voice lessons. Our first time meeting I sung to her and I was very nervous but she listened to me and let me know exactly what I needed to work on which was my breathing and the techniques that she showed works very well..she is very kind women and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a voice teacher..
Been singing for many years and surprised to still be learning so much. Juan is quite professional and disciplined. He identifies where you need work and starts with fundamentals. You can't fake it with him; he'll know! I recommend going into it with a clear goal and he'll design a program for you.
Wow, Ann has been great! I've never taken any voice lessons before, and in fact, I'm a terrible singer! The reason why I wanted to take lessons was because I've always wanted to be able to sing at least one song decently. So, I was nervous going to my first lesson with a professional voice coach. She was very friendly, and put me at ease immediately. She casually taught me about the basics, and asked me a lot of questions to get to know me. Once she realized I had no prior experience, she got right to work! She made the lessons fun, but also full of new things to learn. I've only had a couple of lessons so far, but I'm already noticing a big difference!!! And I'm an absolute beginner! Sometimes she sings for me to show me techniques, and she blows me away with her singing! I can imagine that even professional singers would get a lot out of taking lessons from her! She notices even the tiniest of details about your voice and makes note and suggests ways to improve! I definitely recommend!
I can't say enough about my experience with Ken. He is very intuitive. His lessons are balence between exercises and therory. I have alway found myself mentally stimulated, with plenty of work for my fingers. He is very energetic and reaches out between lessons to give you more music to play with. His warm and friendly personality make the lessons fly by. He also willing to work through tought topics without cutting the lesson short (schedule permitting ). I really appreciate his effort into his students. He has also been pretty flexible with my shedule. As an adult these are not the piano lessons I hated as a child. Lol
The best way I can describe Liz Hodge is as my “Go-To” for overcoming my biggest vocal challenges, writing compelling business speeches that sound like they should be on TED, and making a difference for my leadership team. As the CEO of Promote Her Business, my business speeches and vocal communication significantly affect my ability to get leads, opt-ins, and to have people want to follow-up with our membership and advanced networking programs. Liz has helped me transform my voice into something I like to hear, am proud of, and have confidence will bring me and PHB more business. In addition, as President of our SV Chapter, I take very seriously who educates my leadership team -- of over 10 people -- on the best practices in speaking and vocalizing today. Liz did such a great job giving a mini group workshop to the women entrepreneurs and male allies on our team. And most impressively, Liz’ teaching is so practical that it lives on … my leaders are still referring to what Liz taught us before they speak in front of the community. Josephine “Jos” Hanan, Founder/CEO, Promote Her Business
Liz is my voice teacher. She has helped me a lot with expanding my range and being able to hold notes longer. She has also helped me be a lot louder when I sing. She has many different exercises to warm up your voice at the start of the lesson. She is also very nice and patient, and tries to make you feel comfortable.
These were my first voice lessons ever. Lessons are fun. Deborah has lots of helpful advice and encouragement.
She has improved my singing abilities a lot after only a short period of time. The lessons are always fun and productive.
Both of our kids ( 12 and 10 ) are having a nice time with Lynn while learning their drills. She connects with them individually and helps them learn their drills in a smooth way. Our daughter loves her voice and piano lessons. On the other hand, our son did not want to take piano lessons at all but after a few lessons with Lynn, he decided to stay with it! How great is that! Thank you so much Lynn!!! :-) I am happy and looking forward to seeing more of their progress!
Nick has been providing guitar lessons for my daughter for over a year now. He style is fun, engaging, and hip. Highly recommend his expertise!
Emily is a fabulous voice teacher. She is really helping me with my breathing. She also listens well to what you want and works with where you are.
I enjoyed how Alison interacted with my children in teaching the guitar and piano.not only was she professional, knowledgable, but she made the lessons enjoyable. My children look forward to their lessons & I would reccomend her wholeheartedly
Alivia is a fantastic teacher. She tailors the lessons to my daughters voice and ability while also encouraging her to push herself. She incorporates theory and performance into the lesson plan. She is a fantastic teacher.
Natalie has been fantastic to work with! Her instruction through exercises, general tips/suggestions, and specific ideas when working on a particular song has all been stellar and on point throughout my work with her. I feel like I have improved dramatically over the course of our lessons, and my band members have made several comments about my improvement as well. She has an uncanny knack for knowing what I am doing with my breath, diaphragm, throat, mouth, etc., and being able to suggest just the right adjustments to make things sound better and more comfortable to sing. Natalie is a wonderful person, too, very encouraging, supportive, and respectful. I highly, highly recommend her!!
Ross was very helpful. He was very encouraging and that is necessary for someone like me who hasn't had lessons in years. Ross pointed out what I was doing right and we worked on that, then we moved on to things I needed to improve. I feel like in our one hour lesson I learned more than I have before. I can't wait for our next session :). I would highly recommend for any singer, no matter what level, to have a lesson with Ross.
Lessons from Michael are great. He is great about tweaking sessions to your personal needs to specifically target and prioritize what someone may be struggling with most at that time. He is very encouraging and his experience really shows in the lessons.
I've been taking singing lessons with Cherie for about a year. I've always wanted to perform at open mics and maybe start a band but I knew I had some work to do before feeling confident. So I started singing lessons with Cherie to help prepare me for performance but we also spent a lot of time growing my voice. I realized I had a much bigger range than I'd thought. BTW - I'm also a beginner guitarist and we sometimes have guitar lessons too. She's a great guitarist and singer. So I really feel like she's the best out there for that type of work. If you want to not only work on your voice but learn how to perform and have a fun time in general - I'd book Cherie for lessons. She's a pro :-)
What a gift to have Kayla teaching our child piano! She's incredibly talented both musically and as a teacher. She brings joy and excitement to each lesson and moves our child along at just the right pace. Kayla has brilliantly empowered and motivated our child to practice, play, and even do a little composing of his own! Thanks to Kayla, our child's piano playing and understanding and joy of music have excelled far beyond our expectations.
