When I first decided to start working out with a personal trainer, I looked online for personal trainers in Pasadena. I ultimately decided to go with Hugo based on all of the positive reviews I read of him on here. Since the reviews initially helped me make a decision on choosing Hugo as my personal trainer, I just had to leave my own review. Before committing to train with Hugo, he offered me an introductory deal so that I could experience working out with him. The first couple sessions he evaluated my strength, endurance, and overall physical ability. Once my fitness level and goals were established, Hugo set up a training program and nutritional plan for me. He begins every session by explaining and demonstrating the exercises in the circuit. He also clarifies and demonstrates the importance of proper form, which makes it really easy for me since I'm a visual learner. At any point during the exercise if I forget to use proper form, Hugo reminds me and encourages me throughout. He is very good at helping me understand which muscles each exercise is working out. I like how during every session, he is focused, patient, and motivates me to make sure I'm giving it my all. His professionalism and friendliness make it all that much more of a positive experience training with him. I've been training with Hugo for about three months now, and I can say that I'm truly happy with my results so far. My strength and endurance have greatly increased since our first session. I've noticed my body fat decrease and my muscle mass increase. I also feel much better when I'm exercising and eating healthy, it has greatly helped with my anxiety. I definitely plan on continuing to train with Hugo. I'm excited to see how my fitness level and physique continue to progress. I'm glad that I chose Hugo as my personal trainer, it is obvious that he loves what he does and cares about his clients. I definitely recommend Hugo for anyone looking for a personal trainer, you will not regret it!

I have enjoyed starting my fitness training. Jobi has been very patient with me and has taken the time to tailor my workout to my specific needs. Knowing when to push me or to encourage me, he has been very professional and his experience and knowledge in this field is evident. I especially appreciate how flexible his schedule is.
Eric is awesome! He provides a lot of knowledge along with the training. I've been with him since Feb and I just brought my husband on board to have sessions with him. I am very pleased with my progress - feel so much stronger. Would recommend him to anyone:)
I signed up with No Excuse Fitness and I am So happy that I found them. I moved from LA and I needed to find a trainer to keep me on track I was training out of the Sports Club of LA and I was paying 3 times more than what I will be paying now!! That means I can train 4 times a week with No Excuse Fitness and pay one third of the cost. I Love the way the gym feels very personal you can tell that everyone there loves training there. This is a great find I am very happy to find them.
Aaron Valizan has been my brother, Shawn’s personal trainer and “life saver” for a couple years. Shawn was a NCAA two time Men's rings gymnastics champion, and was a personal trainer himself up until he had his 2 strokes. Shawn is only 55 years old. A few years ago, had two strokes which left him incompacitated and unable to: • Read • Remember anything • Walk on his own • Eat his meals without help • Make it to the bathroom • Remember where is living He has stayed at two Skilled Nursing Homes: San Marino Manor for 6 months Glendora Grand which is where Shawn has resided for two years. I decided that Shawn needed someone who could relate to his background and understand his illness and physical handicaps. It was very difficult for Shawn because he did have a vague memory of being a PT and thought he still had clients that he worked out with. I started researching Personal Trainers in his area and found Aaron Valizan. He was highly recommended, and I also found out he had 10 years of nursing experience in the hospital setting, so I set up a time for him to come out to Glendora Grand convalescent home to meet Shawn. They hit it off right away. Shawn was actually smiling for the first time in years. I started booking their appointments. Shawn showed progress after only a few weeks. Then, Shawn caught MRSA, which is a highly contagious disease. He was transported to Inter Community Hospital where he was put into an isolated department with a private room. Aaron visited Shawn (wearing scrubs, gloves and booties to protect him from contracting the disease). He immediately lifted Shawn’s morale which in turn got him to start to eat. The hospital staff was really impressed with how well he worked with Shawn. Aaron started organizing some training sessions for Shawn for when he returned to Glendora Grand. Within one month, he had Shawn out of the wheel chair and walking on his own (Shawn’s disease was gone). Every time Aaron walked into Shawn’s room, his fact lit up and he was ready to “go work out”. When Shawn was feeling better, Aaron decided to sign him up at a local gym, giving Shawn a lot more to look forward to do. His symptoms improved on a regular basis. He remembered that he had appointments at a gym and could not wait to go. I could not be more happy! Today, Shawn has improved on a regular basis. Aaron has kept up their appointments at the gym and coming by to work with him at Glendora Grand. Shawn looks forward to every appointment. Honestly, I have been so impressed with Aaron and thrilled with the amount of time and patience he takes to work with Shawn. I think we are beginning to see “The Light at The End of the Tunnel” and hope that Shawn will improve on a regular basis. I cannot thank Aaron enough for all that he has done for my brother. Whether its weight loss, working with a persons disability, or training for an event, Roger has always worked with all of his clients to help them achieve their training goals. I personally have had Gall Bladder surgery, cataract surgery, shingles, and now I a deteriorating back and spinal column. Though it all, Roger had been patient and worked with me to bring me back. Adrien's training style is very intense, he's very easy to chat with about almost everything. He is very motivating and keeps you on track and makes sure to check in with you about your progress regularly, even outside the session. I appreciate the commitment that Adrien puts in to the nutrition as well and everything together as a lifestyle change. If uou are looking for a trainer I would highly recommend him.
I worked with Margo over the course of about 5 months and had a great experience. I had already been exercising consistently for a while but Margo helped me bring my fitness to a whole new level. He created a personalized workout plan that incorporated the things I wanted to focus on: functional fitness and MMA. Throughout our time together we also modified and tweaked my workout to focus on my weaknesses. He was always available for questions and delivered on his promises. If I didn't have to move away I would still be training with Margo, and I highly recommend him to any of my friends who want to push themselves past their comfort zone.
I had a dozen questions for Steve and he answered them all so that I could understand the information. He's extremely punctual and when it's time to get to work he pushes you to do more, even after you've done more. For me, we kept our workouts at a circuit pace with minimal downtime between exercises -- mostly just to briefly explain what to do if it was new to me. Steve helps explain proper technique, too. I'd definitely recommend using Steve's services if you're the kind of person who needs that extra bit of motivation, or wants results from your workouts.
Hiking, running, strength training, and HIIT are just a few of the things she has trained me in. Very well rounded trainer, will easily adjust/ modify the regime to fit individuals with injuries or difficulties. Great with motivating you to increase your intensity.
I just want to start off by saying thanks a lot for the great workout Jacob! My arms and legs feel like noodles! Jacob has a great attitude and made the time he was training me enjoyable, even tho I was sweating and my body was feeling the burn! Jacob used a variety of different workouts that I've never tried out. I will be going back to workout with him again and see what level he can take me to. Thanks again Jacob!

Corey is such an amazing trainer!! He customizes the training to fit your needs and what you like so that you can enjoy working out. He's very friendly and always cracking jokes, yet very serious when it comes to the safety and how to get it done right. His priority is his clients, so you won't be seeing him on his phone while training, and that's very nice to know. If you're reading this comment, I assume you're looking for a trainer. Do it!! I got stronger, leaner, and feel great about myself!
Eddie was instrumental in developing a specific program that fit my physical condition and met the goals that I wanted to achieve. He is very knowledgeable about the equipment and the techniques resulting in me noticing a significant improvement in my physical condition. During our training sessions his motivation has been positive and important for me to continue to improve. I'am completely satisfied with the results of his training program.
Laura is very knowledgeable about fitness training and nutrition and how to help me reach my goals. She consistently monitors my capabilities and easily challenges me to the next level of fitness. After just a few weeks, I am more toned and have noticed a real change in my appearance! Marcos is amazing. If your looking to get fit and find your inner strength, both physically and mentally this is your guy. When I started to train with marcos i was about 5 years out of shape. In less than 1 year, I was able to complete my first ever 5k run. Marcos is professional and truly has a passion for fitness. You need to give him a try, his training is beyond excercise, it's a genuine mental and state of mind transformation!
Mitchell is a fantastic trainer with amazing energy. He really understands the body and how it functions. I never left a training session feeling like I didn’t give it all I had because Mitchell is a great motivator. Despite pushing you to your max, he finds a way to make it fun as well! Mitchell is an absolute gem. He is very professional as well. Overall he is an amazing experience.

I have been training with Juan for 3 years now. He is a great trainer and motivator. He will listen to what you're goals are and help you achieve them. He knows how to push you, but always make the workouts fun. I never get bored with the workouts, he is always coming up with new ones. If you are looking for a trainer I would definitely recommend Juan!!!!
I’ve been using Sarah for pilates instruction and all around fitness training. Her style is upbeat and encouraging. Her strengths are pinpointing certain muscle groups and she is great on technique. All around a fantastic trainer. Highly recommended.
