I reached out to this company on 08/11/23 & we are at a standstill regarding my fence repair. An Amazon driver broke my gate, I was told by the Amazon claims department I needed to get a licensed contractor for repairs. Contacted this company, the “on-site” estimate was me sending them pictures of the damage and they proceeded to give me a quote, that should have been my first red flag! Communicated with the first person in charge of my repairs and after a little back & forth, claims department sent them a check for my fence. Then for a week, I didn’t hear anything anymore from this person. After trying to get ahold of somebody to help me, I was told the original person handling the fencing repairs was on vacation. Now I’m on to my second point of contact with an Ergeon employee. She told me someone would be sent out to get final measurements, so we could proceed with the install. A young kid shows up with a pad and paper, no measuring was done. It was a waste of my time. Fine moving on, then the first person calls me up to apologize for not responding back and she tells me she was in the hospital. So vacation or hospital, at this point it’s starting to become a headache. I then get a second quote that is higher than the first, and they wanted me to give my credit card information to cover the difference. I was going to do no such thing!! They already have the check from the Amazon Claims department. So install day is today, and I thought, finally! Nope!!! The sub-contractor comes out and the fence is not even the same fence! I asked him if Ergeon had sent them the pictures of what the fence looked like to ensure they had the proper materials and he said no. So the guys left. I called my second point of contact and asked what the next step was and she told me that there was no guarantee that the fence would be a match and if I could send her the color of fence I wanted. I asked her that if I was not going to be guaranteed the same fence then why wasn’t I told in the beginning & she could not give me an answer. I also told her that I had already sent pictures of what the fence looked like. It’s not a fancy fence, it’s literally a vinyl fence from Lowe’s! She calls me back and said they were going to do a “Deep Dive” into the situation, whatever that means. Amazon Claims have already closed their case with us, Ergeon has that check, & we still have no fence. I don’t even know what is going to happen at this point. I am also questioning the high rating they have because there is no way it’s that high if they can’t even properly communicate with the sun-contractors.
