We used Megan for our daughter's first birthday party. The whole experience was great! Megan was very professional, respectful and helpful in figuring out the specifics of the party. I love that her detailed proposal included pictures of each item so you knew exactly what to expect on the day of the party. She was very responsive and quick to respond to emails and to provide follow-up. We really appreciated her attention to detail. The end result was fantastic and we could not have been happier. We would definitely work with her again!
I hired Sierra Madre Catering for my husband's 40th birthday party held at my home. The set up process was so easy, they were so accommodating with the menu I wanted (even though it included fried foods and philly cheese steak sandwiches which are hard to make on-site). The moment they got to my house, Tonya and her chefs were so professional, speedy, on top of it all! They made my night so much easier and fun and I finally got to enjoy my own party for once! They left my house very neat like my kitchen was never used! They picked up after my guests throughout the night. My favorites were inside-out Philly cheese steak, pulled pork sliders, mac & cheese, potstickers and garlic fries. Thank you and looking forward to seeing you again!
Full Catering for a Birthday- One Hot Dish brought chosen entrees, appetizers and drinks and did such a wonderful job with presentation and courtesy that I will no doubt request theyre services again. The party was an absolute hit!
Marie Stark was an absolute life saver at my wedding. To put things bluntly, I had a very difficult wedding party to work with and she was nothing but patient with them. Not only that, but she managed to turn my wedding dream into a reality. The entire process of working with Marie was incredibly calming which was refreshing considering how stressful wedding planning can be. I could not be happier with Marie as my wedding coordinator. She managed everything that I couldn’t on my wedding day and I am truly grateful for all of her efforts. I highly recommend her!

We had EventSpell decorate and manage everything for my bridal shower and they did a phenomenal job! I was blown away at how great the tables and centerpieces looked. The wall that was decorated was truly spectacular. It takes someone with a great sense of imagination and design to have transformed the area from an empty dull clubhouse into a Great Gatsby themed shower. I was awestruck by everything because it felt like I was stepping back into time. I could not have asked for a better shower and Ishita did a great job with everything! I would highly recommend her services to anyone planning a party, wedding, shower, etc!
Last year I hired Steven to assist me with planning my wedding at the Edward Dean Museum. I had initially thought that I could plan my wedding without any outside help, but with starting a new job and moving to a new city, I had so much on my plate that I finally contacted Steven, and it was easily the best money I have spent on the wedding. Steven was in constant contact throughout the planning, and took over communication with my vendors, which was a huge weight off my shoulders. He laid out exactly what he needed from me so that I could easily provide necessary information. He even saved the day by borrowing a large cupcake stand from a friend of his for my wedding cupcakes :) Steven is very friendly, and always professional. The only regret I have about him is that I did not hire him sooner, because I feel like I would have stressed less! I would highly recommend him to anyone planning any type of party, because you know that it will be well put together.
By far the best event planner I've ever hired!!!! Veronica is a god send!!! I tend to be very demanding and particular individual and in the past other planners that claimed to be carreer professionals have always fallen short on delivering my needs and desires for how I envision my events look feel and more importantly how I expect my guests to feel during and at the end my events. When I hired Veronica to plan my wife's baby shower the pressure was on from day one. Its was my first baby and most importantly it was a surprise for my wife, so perfection was mandatory. When I met her for our first consultation I was blown away by how prepared she was with ideas as to how our baby shower could be. I fancy myself the creative type but Veronica is on a whole new level of creativity. She was able to invision my thoughts instantly and simultaniously recommend things that I hadn't even considered!!! Her eye for design is amazing!! Her understanding of color palettes, textures, and patterns are even more on point!! Her knowledge for lighting and sound distribution is something I hadn't even considered until I met her that brought a whole new demention to my events. And the flowers!!! OMG! The flowers were those of something from a fairytale!!! Her attention to detail was that of suitable to no less then royalty. I'm a bit of a control freak, but by the follow up consultation I was beyond confident that I had hired the perfect planner and did something I hardly do and that was let her plan every single aspect of my event. So the day came and what she delivered was beyond mine and my wife's fairytale dreams. My wife was so amazed by this wonderful surprise it brought tears to her eyes and the guest hadn't even arrived! Needles to say our guest were equally blown away! Endless compliments from all as to how lovely everything turned out to be! So now Veronica will be my go-too planner from this day forward and really excited for what she has in-store for our yearly corprate holiday party 2017, personal NYE party 2017, and our sons 1st Birthday party next year. Caroline made our dinner party for twenty-two a huge success! From planning to executing the menu, she was a delight to work with. The steak and salmon with a trio of sauces were excellent. And our friends are still raving. Caroline's calm nature made the evening stress free. We were able to enjoy the time with our friends knowing that everything was taken care of. I am thrilled to have used Marquez family catering! Not only have I used her for weddings and baby showers but I also used her for a large casserole or two for large family gatherings at my home. Karen came through big time in helping me put on my wife's 50th Birthday Party. The outpouring of compliments are still coming through from all of the guests in attendance. Not only being very professional, Karen's attention to the details made the difference in an extremely successful party. From the Photo Booth, Pictures, Layout, Venue... Karen kept me informed prior and during the party, keeping a very calm demeanor throughout... very professional! I would definitely use Karen again if needed and would highly recommend to anyone needing an event planner.
Sheila catered our staff Christmas party and did an outstanding job. I own a fine dining restaurant and wanted the staff to be impressed with the meal, (apps were scrumptious and two entrees and sides were hot and delicious) and she did not let me down. At the end of the evening I r served her services for next year.

Having a Celebrity Chef cater my party was priceless. This Chef is incredible with taste-level and creativity on every dish. She just moved back to her home state of California, after she conquered running several high end restaurants throughout NY, and studying and cooking through Italy and Coastal Mexico! Her Catering company is top notch but she's humble enough to work with your budget. Take advantage while you can, before she's booked up.
I can highly recommend SMP Catering! They catered my wedding reception last summer for 175 guests. Their food is AMAZING!!!! I loved working with Valerie and Chef Steven. They created a menu designed just for me and my hubby. I love Italian food and my husband loves Latin and American food. They created such an awesome menu to highlight some of our favorite dishes. Valerie even helped me come up with with signature drink ideas and a candy station. To this day my friends and family still rave about the food we had. Valerie and Steven were so friendly and easy to work with and their staff were all very professional. They helped coordinate all of our rentals which made my wedding planning easier! Since my wedding I've hired SMP Catering for some other parties I've hosted both at home and even at work and am always happy with their food and service!
We most definitely had a Happening, catered! First family reunion in 12 years for a large family in the movie business for 3 generations, who as a group are the most discerning foodies I know. Everyone was raving about the food from start to finish, and then afterwards in a flurry of emails, thanking the hosts for such an amazing party-- we could not have done it without Vincent and crew. None of us lifted a finger, and my cousin's home was left absolutely spotless. They also did a fabulous job on an all Greek menu, which they a lot of research to develop, and find the best sources for ingredientsfrom the bread to the very tender octopus legs. Nothing could have been improved on. Vincent and his staff had our backs on every detail. Esther was a beautiful organizer who made the transitions seamless, gracious and elegant. The sous chefs and servers looked like they loved their work, clearly knew each other well and seemed to be having as much fun putting on a great party as the guests did. We all think Vincent's focus on creating fantastic food as integral to the party and prepared on site in front of everyone is an exciting new development in the concept of catering. That was the real activity of the afternoon, and appreciated by all! It was hard to get my family out of the kitchen and into the garden, they were all so amazed by the enjoyment of food and of watching the synchronicity of the chef and his team. It was performance art.
I have known Loretta Dudgeon Maier for many years. We met when I was attending an event that she catered. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed. I attended such events several times and Lori was the caterer. Later on I became a client of Lori's for my own family's parties - Birthday celebrations, Holiday events, and more recently, a Baby Shower. Lori is personable and patient with a wealth of knowledge about food and working with people. She asks about my ideas and she may give me some other options that would work together with mine. We continue until I have a completed menu. The process is done easily. I love working with her because her ideas are usually just right. She also knows what items we will need to rent; such as tables, chairs, table linens, heaters or anything needed to enhance the party atmosphere or comfort.
