Hired to do a deep clean for a house prior to move in. I was not present when cleaning was done. Work was fine but not as much of a “deep” clean as I was anticipating. Update: The home was dusty, there were some cobwebs in a few corners, and the walls appeared to be wiped at but not actually clean. How busy I am has no bearing on my review so I see no reason to include a timeline in the response, either the work was done satisfactorily or it wasn't. We apologize that you weren't completely satisfied with our services. We have not verbally communicated or physically met, we went into a empty home. We contacted you after service and never received a response, communcation is key, and we would have gladly accommodated you. Ten days later we receive a review from an unhappy client, not sure if you were in the home 10 days or if you arrived to move in after 10 days. UPDATE: A timeline is extremely important when you live in a dusty area. Homes in certain areas accumulate dust in a matter of a day. If you did not enter the home until 10 days later, dust will be present. Also you asked for a deep move in at a low $192. As you stated we wiped down walls, we did that as a courtesy because "cleaning" walls, was not included in your fee and you didn't ask or make us aware you needed the extra service. Add on's are extremely important and should be communicated. You as a client were not there to communicate the add on's needed. So therefore you were not satisfied with the expected results and we do apologize for the entire inconvenience.
I’ll admit I was a skeptic shopper as a new user of thumbtack, but this job was done so well! I moved out of my home and needed it cleaned top to bottom for the new renters. I added refrigerator, oven and blinds to my cleaning. The 3 person team worked hard all day while I was out and about. The end result exceeded my expectations by far. They used terrific cleaning products that made everything smell fresh and the house really seemed to sparkle! My fridge didn’t just get a cleaning it got “detailed.” It looked brand new! Also my washer and dryer were thoroughly cleaned which I didn’t think to mention, but was definitely noticed and appreciated. The blinds were done one by one and brightened up the entire house once finished (along with the clean baseboards). My husband was really impressed with the work ethic of this family and kept bringing it up the rest of the night. New tenants came for their walk through a couple hours later and asked for the cleaning people’s contact info. Definitely left a great impression with all of us! - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Our typical process is to Listen to the customer. What do they need done? What deadlines exists? I hope to convey to them that I am trustworthy and I have their best interest in mind at all times.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?The education and training I have in housekeeping is long term experience and great customer service skills because I'm a people person.
