Prompt response and came same day to install new water heater. Friendly and professional.
I called Manny on Tuesday afternoon, he arrived in the evening to assess the problem. He showed up on Wednesday morning early with all material necessary to replace a hot water heater. Was finished in 2 hours and we have hot water once again. Nice guy too.
So Sergio comes out on short notice, has the parts for my water heater, fixes it, remains honest, friendly, and professional the whole time, and charges a very fair price. What's there not to like? Will definitely call him again!
All In One Plumbing & Drains, Inc. removed and disposed of our old water heater at a $35 charge, they got the permit for us at a $50 charge plus the cost of the permit at City Hall, they picked up and transported the new water heater from Orchard Hardware, around 2 miles at a $35 charge and installed the water heater in around 4 1/2 hours and it passed inspection by the City the next day. Cesar and his apprentice were very courteous and friendly and did a good job and the only complaint I have about their service is the final price. The Thumbtack.com price they advertised online was $225 but the final price turned out to be $700, over 3 times what they advertised. I would have left off one more star in the rating but they are still cheaper than Sears and the other licensed contractors that quoted us prices on Thumbtack. A couple of the handymen on Thumbtack quoted less of a price but there's no guarantee with someone that's not a licensed and bonded contractor. I don't know what these quotes on Thumbtack are based on and I forgot to ask them about it but these people need to be more honest about their final estimates since $225 plus $120 plus the permit price of $47 doesn't equal $700 dollars.
Steve proved himself to be an excellent choice for me to have some home improvement work taken care. Within 10 minutes of placing my request on Thumb Tac, I had received a response from Steve with an estimate of how much it would cost to do the work site unseen. Within an hour he was onsite looking over the project; we were able to quickly negotiate a fair price to have the work done with Steve including the demolition and haul-away of a weathered wooden shed and the spa pump, heater, and other items stored within it. My primary request was to have a somewhat large, very weathered wood deck demoed and hauled away to a landfill/dump. Steve turned out to be an easy-going, personable, and exceptionally hard worker very knowledgeable in many areas of home improvement, construction and demolition. He carefully and expertly executed the demolition and haul away of the entire wood deck. – A lot of work. Steve worked his a$$ off to demo the deck and haul it away in an efficient, timely, and proper manner. As a result, I asked Steve to also provide a power wash to my house paying special attention to my very weathered front walkway pavers. Throughout the project Steve followed through on every promise and worked especially hard to bring out the best with the power washing of the pavers providing an exceptionally noticeable improvement after removing a lot of baked in dirt, grime, and fungus. There were a couple of times when Steve could not make it back to continue the work at the agreed upon time due to unexpected ‘life’ events, which I understand happens to all of us. However, even given a couple of unexpected hold-ups, he made it to the site every day, kept me in the loop with what was going on, and gave me a discount to compensate for the inconvenience and hold-up in getting to the site due to these interruptions. He went so far as to show up on a Sunday to coat and seal the newly power washed front walkway pavers. All-in-all, it was a great experience working with Steve. He was reliable, a hard worker, very proficient and knowledgeable, and very competitively priced. I look forward to having him back for other home improvements in the near future. Thanks for a great job, Steve! -Bob
Frank came and diagnosed the problem with the water heater. Alas, I needed a new hot water heater, he recommended the brand I should get, purchased it, and then returned to my house to install it. He had to remove the old one prior to installing the new one. His father worked with him to remove the old water heater, and the new one was installed. He worked diligently on the installation. So far, everything is working well!!
Diamond Plumbing was reliable/on-time to our scheduled appointment. Esteban provided options to repair my water heater. We agreed and he performed the repairs in a timely and professional manner. I will be using Diamond Plumbing in the future.
We had a relief Valve leak. We had for weeks. My husband wanted to Purchase a new water heater thinking it needed to be replaced. Tyler diagnosed it prior to coming out. Showed up right away on Dec23 rd. Fixed the problem . Pricing was incredible. Will definitely call them again.
These guys were excellent! Prompt, professsional, knowledgable and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better service. I had a leak in my hot water heater. They replaced the water heater, fixed my central heat problem and gave me a great quote on getting central air. I will be using them again.
I needed water heater maintenance and my main water line was broken. Jim did a great job. Trustworthy and very professional and his rates were very reasonable. I will definitely hire him back.
Ed was an absolute pleasure to work with! I will hire him again in the future for any small or large project I may need. I live 1 hour away from my rental property and I never had to come to the area. Ed was completely on top of the work that was required, he knew exactly how to fix my water heater and hole in the wall (due to rats) and he sent me before pictures and pictures once the job was completed as well. He was professional and prompt. He made the payment portion extremely easy, especially considering I live far away. I thought the water heater exterior door would need to be replaced, but he was so honest and told me it just needed some TLC and it would save me money as well. Can you believe that? An honest person nowadays? Thank you for the work. It looks amazing!
Isidrio is the BEST plumber (and tech) I've worked with. He was very professional, prompt, clean, and offered a very fair price. I've used him to install my water heater, fix a bathroom faucet leak, and he just remodeled by bathroom. It's hard to find people who are not just good at their job but who are also honest. I would recommend Isidrio for any job.
In addition the recent work I had done, I have been using Mobile Authority for well over 10 years and I am still impressed. Besides the great work, you can find Jim Presti's picture in the dictionary under customer service and professionalism. From the first job he did for us on a holiday weekend, which he still charged his normal rate, to redoing all the bathrooms in our home, the water heater, new valves, etc. It's all been done in the time frame promised, the price quoted and with impeccable follow-up. My wife really appreciates how thoroughly he cleans up after every job. We can't recommend him enough!
Jesus, All Pro Plumbing, removed and replaced a defective water heater. The service that he provided could not have been better. He was very knowledgeable, very professional, and he did a great job. I would engage All Pro...specifically requesting Jesus...anytime when I have plumbing needs. And, I wouldn't hesitate to refer All Pro
Im real estate property manager. I met Sal in 2010. Since then Ive always been impressed with his work. He has done many repairs and improvements such as installing new vinyl windows, including patio sliders. Ive had him install bathtub/shower enclosures, sinks, toilets, garbage disposers and water heaters. He has replace valves and faucets. He can frame walls, hang and finish drywall beautifully. Recently he installed a stove exhaust hood vent, including cutting the existing cabinets and venting it out the roof. He has hung interior and exterior doors. He can trouble shoot electrical problems, replace circuit breakers, install coax, HDMI and CAT5. Ive asked him to run new electrical and cable outlets and install TV braces and hang large TVs. I recently had a dishwasher leak in an upstairs apartment that damaged the ceiling below. Sal removed the old damaged ceiling. Ran fans to make sure everything was dry before he installed new drywall and insulation in the kitchen/dining area. He added a brace for a new ceiling fan, which he also installed. He matched the existing drywall texture and painted it. He also installed a new dishwasher upstairs. In addition to all of the above he can unclog drains big and small. This is only a partial list of his abilities; no job is too big or small. He's excellent at problem solving and Ive yet to find anything he cant do well. Most of all hes dependable, honest and fair, not to mention hes a Marine. I would highly recommend Sal.
I hired Luis to install a dryer vent into a house I just purchased. He did the work exactly as he detailed in his quote/estimate and he stuck to his quoted price. He arrived on time, completed the work in a timely manner and made good use of a drop cloth to keep my home clean. On the same day, he also installed a water line for my refrigerator ice maker and a thermostat for my wall heater. Throughout the process Luis made sure to explain everything to me, which I found quite useful. I'm very pleased with all of these projects and most certainly will hire Luis again.
We had just bought a new house and wanted to renovate a bedroom and bathroom that had not been permitted by the previous owner. We hired Ronald Butler and his crew because out of all the contractors we interviewed, he seemed the most knowledgeable and apt to delivering the services we were looking for. From the outset of the renovation, it was clear that our new home was going to need much more work than we anticipated. The discoveries we made when opening up walls, prompted us to change our scope of work. We were now facing new electrical, plumbing, foundation, roofing, and flooring among other things. My wife and I were nervous about the changes because of the financial ramifications, and with two small children, the impact it will have on our living conditions for the next several months. Fortunately for us, we found the right contractor. Ronald's no nonsense advice, professional guidance and expert workmanship has made this process a lot more manageable than we thought. The project included in addition to the aforementioned scope: new floor plan, new HVAC, new tankless water heater, high efficiency appliances for a new kitchen, solar tubes, new electrical sub-panels, two new bathrooms, with new tub, all new fixtures, toilets and sinks, new laundry room, energy efficient recessed lighting throughout the house, new copper piping, gas piping, new electrical conductors, recepticles and switches, new windows, interior and exterior doors, new drywall and paint, new insulation, and a new 400 square foot deck. There were many challenges throughout this project, and Ronald and his crew met and overcame each one in a timely fashion, with courtesy and professional tact. My wife and I feel very fortunate to have found Ronald. He has not only delivered us a completely renovated home, that meets all of our contemporary criteria with all the new energy efficient home options, but he has also given us peace of mind and security for us and our children in an ideal home for many years to come. ....photos coming soon.
What can I say about these guys, that all of the other extremely satisfied customers haven’t already said? I had a leaking 40 gallon water heater and looked at the various companies provided to me by Thumbtack. I was presently surprised to see so many positives reviews on R & R Plumbing on Yelp, so I sent them an email and received a call from Ryan R within 30 minutes. Ryan R asked if I could send him a picture of the water heater, which I told him I could not, but I explained that it was a 40 gallon propane water heater, located in the garage. I requested a quote to replace my 40 gallon propane water heater with 30 gallon propane water heater, because I thought that it would be less expensive, (retired on a fixed income). Ryan R told me that a 40 gallon replacement propane water heater would be less expensive than a 30 gallon water heater and that the cost to run a 40 gallon propane water heater over a 30 gallon propane water heater was very small. Ryan R said that he could fit it in on Saturday, but I said why don’t we just schedule it for next week, (it was still working but leaking). Ryan R said that he would schedule it for the first thing Monday morning, (7:00am – 8:00am). Ryan called at 7:10 am Monday morning and told me he would be there within 20 minutes. He arrived on time and replaced my 40 gallon propane water heater. He also spent his valuable time cleaning up the area around the old leaking water heater, prior to installing the new water heater. Ryan R was able to get the job done very quickly, (you could tell that he has done this a number of times before, ha, ha, ha) he was very efficient and the quality of his work was second to none. Thank You Ryan R for a job well done! Since he was already at my home, I asked him to provide me with a quote on three leaking outside hose bibs, which he did. We will be scheduling a time for him to repair those as well. I could not see calling anyone else for any of my plumbing needs and neither should you.
Miguel's operation is high speed! He did an excellent job with the installation of a water heater, no surprises, and did extra to make sure the job was left clean, a true professional. I will definitely use him in the future for all my plumbing needs.
Excellent work and timely service. Arrived on time and completed the job within 4 hours. Very please with the water heater. I would recommend them again for water heater replacement and installation in San Gabriel Valley.
He was excellent at getting back to me to let me know when he could fit me in and repaired our water heater before the end of the day. Thank you!
