Introduction: Most people see headshots as purely utilitarian--after all, a "headshot" is just an easy way of putting a face to a name. But the thing that people miss is that a well crafted headshot should also convey a sense of 'who' the person in the photo really is. A successful headshot should not only put a face to a name, it has to evoke a sense of intrigue in the viewer and draw them in. That's what I seek to accomplish for every person who steps in front of my camera.
From very early on, I knew I was the "creative type"--but it wasn't until I picked up my first camera that I finally had a way of expressing my creativity that I truly enjoyed. Since then, the world has never looked the same.

Jon Hwang is an amazing videographer who successfully captured our wedding day. His greatest skill is the ability the capture the mood. Many professionals are great at simply filming and editing footage, but Jon goes well beyond expectations and captures the essence of an event. Details such as clips, pacing, and music must be combined in a unique way to properly express meaningwhich Jon does without fail.
Jon is easy to work with throughout the entire process. During our first meeting, we negotiated the details and he worked with us to provide a film within our budget. He showed up on the wedding day prepared and ready to go. Perhaps most importantly is that Jon was able to work successfully with our photographer, something that cant be taken for granted. He provided an extra hand whenever needed, avoided showing up in the background of pictures, and yet was still able to capture the shots necessary.
After the event, he continually worked with us to get the video just the way we wanted it. We made numerous suggestions, changes, and tweaks, which he fixed without any complaints.
His films clearly demonstrate his artistic skill. We strongly recommend Jon Hwang.

Jon Hwang is an exceptional videographer. I have worked with Jon on several projects and have been pleased each time. I am most impressed by his intense and prompt work ethic and his razor sharp focus on details and visual excellence.
