Garrick looked over copies of my tax returns (which I completed personally) since I got in trouble with the IRS in 1998. He pretty quickly was able to tell me that I had done nothing wrong and it was likely that the timing of my communications with the IRS was the source of my troubles. He advised me to give them time to figure out that they (the IRS) owed me money not the other way around. He further told me that if the IRS did not come through that he would intervene.
