FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Quoted price is for normal hourly rate for instructional tutoring; first time customer specials available to try it out! I also offer music production and recording services and am I am very reasonably priced as well as agreeable to “sliding scale”! I am more interested in helping teach or produce a project then to haggle over price, my fee is per hour and all billed time is accounted for. Which means I can’t be sure about the final cost but the customer is always aware of running budgets!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first session is extremely important. I assess the direction that the lessons or project needs to go for the most optimal end result. When the client needs my services for a recording project this would be preproduction. With a new student, this is assessing their current knowledge and figuring out what direction they would like to go in their studies. Once that first session is completed and figured out the rest of the sessions come together… But that first session is all important in getting a good final product!
