Sarah really understands dog behavior. In 20 minutes she had our puppy behaving beautifully. The tough part is for the humans to understand, learn and execute the same training. Sarah promises stay with us through the process. I'm thrilled.Oct 21, 2019VerifiedAtlas Dog Training's reply
Thank you Valerie! How fun Ruby was today! 🐾🐾 You have a lovely puppy and I am eager to see her develop into a lovely dog. Looking forward to next week!
Sarah did great with CC, our Catahoula mix, who was having some leash reactivity to people & dogs during walks on the street. With her recommendations, we have already started seeing improvements on her walks. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone for future training. Thank you so much!Dec 3, 2019VerifiedAtlas Dog Training's reply
Thank you Lauren! I’m so happy you finally have CC and are such a natural handler. The pleasure was all mine 🐾🐾
We had such a great experience with our first session with Sarah! She was very thorough and pointed out things we could do on our own which provided great value to our dogs training. We look forward to more sessions! :)Feb 1, 2020VerifiedAtlas Dog Training's reply
Thank you Liana! Can’t wait until next time and for Sam to keep powering forward!
Sara was outstanding for our first visit! It takes my dog a long time to be friendly and behaved with visitors. First meeting, my dog was calm almost immediately with Sarah’s wonderful demeanor with animals. She was very attentive to our needs and our dogs. I’m looking forward to the next training.Nov 28, 2019VerifiedAtlas Dog Training's reply
Thank you Lezlee! Jackson is so much fun and I am looking forward to our next sessions! 🐾🐾
My dog had multiple issues - she is big and dragged me on walks causing back problems for me, barked incessantly at persons we invited into our home, and was unresponsive to any commands despite having been to puppy socialization classes and family dog classes. I love her but was at the end of my rope. Sarah at Atlas training worked with me and my dog. She gave me all the tools I needed to communicate with my dog who now walks gently beside me, who will be quiet when I ask it of her, and comes when I call her. I would recommend Atlas very highly to anyone who loves their dog and needs help with training. Sarah’s experience is impressive, which is readily apparent as her impact on me and my dog registered on our first meeting. She is also highly intuitive where dogs are concerned.. Worth every penny, would hire her again!Mar 15, 2020Atlas Dog Training's reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We start with a free consultation call to discuss the details and answer any questions. I want to hear the concerns and goals of the owner. I will also always be honest about the realistic outcomes and the homework that it entails. Generally an assessment with a full training session is then scheduled. After discussing the appropriate package or single session options, we schedule on from there!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Former Training Manager, Lead dog trainer and facility manager of elite local boarding/daycare/training center. Previous to that I spent time working with intellectually delayed adults as a case manager which helped me grow as a trainer for service dogs. I worked around the clock with up to 5 puppies for two weeks of an intensive 24 hour board and train program. Not to mention the lifetime experience 🐾🐾
