FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Learning is a passion of mind. I heard some where: "the day you stop learning is the day you die." I know that may sound a bit harsh, but the idea behind that phrase keeps me hungry for knowledge. You can generally find me in a class, at a library, or in a book store seeking out new developments in the photography industry. When I'm out photographing the beach the lighting will be different depending on the time of day that I decide to go. Which means every time I go out to photograph a subject the lighting will be different (generally). That's what keeps photography interesting. Always learning to deal with lighting situations and new challenges.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Being observant! Seeing the world in a different light at times, and having an appreciation for a scene that has been presented to me.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be active in the process of photography! If you have an idea, or envision a particular look for your photographs please be active. Talk with your photographer about your photography needs. Are you going to be printing these images or just using them for the web/advertising? What are these pictures for? Be active in the process! :D
