Nancy is amazing!! My 10-year old son has taken art classes from her and loves them! He is constantly asking when he can sign up again. I love that Nancy teaches technique but encourages creativity and celebrates uniqueness. She is so kind and sincerely enjoys working with each child. I couldn't ask for a better art teacher for my son.

So fun to be a part of. Natasha really lite up the room with her great teaching techniques and humor. I always felt like I had the right amount of paint and I could ask questions and she gave me one on one help. It was a blast can't wait to go again with more friends this time. She had creative ways to make the class up beat and there was never a dull moment.

I have taken several art related classes with various instructors, yet Margaret is over the top the best. Why? Her classes are an amazing balance of instruction and individual exploration. She is so encouraging and also allows time for students to absorb her instructions and suggestions and just play on their own! Margaret is so animated and approachable and articulate, too. Her enthusiasm for creative expression is tangible and very motivating. So far I have had the pleasure of taking her Soul Collage class as well as her Journaling class and I am signed up for another class with her next month.

Donna P. Shellooe, aka Ramona Hotel, exceeded my expectations with the thoroughness of her work, her honesty, and her strong work ethic. Having initially hired her for some gardening work, I've found her able and willing to tackle any jobs presented to her.

About

I learned to crochet at seven. I've been selling my work for nearly fifty years. I teach individual stitches, pattern reading, yarn selection and care, and use of accessories with the goal of the beginning student being able to read a pattern and make a simple piece of their choice after a maximum of three sessions. I teach beginning knitting and afghan crochet with a similar goal, and although I only teach beginning knitting, I teach intermediate crochet skills as well. Polymer clay classes include instruction for conditioning, blending and modeling, and curing polymer clay. As polymer clay colors blend like paint, there is some instruction in color theory. Beginning classes are bead making and progress to work with armatures and mandrels. Wire wrapping instruction familiarizes the student with different metals and gauge measurement, pattern reading and tool usage and grades.

About

My purpose is to create safe and playful space for children, and adults to access their own creativity. My emphasis is on the creative process and the healing that takes place through self-expression. For 25 years, I have worked with adults and children using a variety of media to open to playful, intuitive, and stress-free creativity. I do this through a variety of media, including clay and watercolor, and activities involving mask-making, Native American crafts, book and printmaking, collage, drawing, and journaling. . I offer private and public classes and I do individual as well as group lessons. I also work with freeing stuck emotional patterns in a process called Cellular Memory Release. I am also available for private sessions. I am known for helping people feel nurtured, safe, and allowing self-acceptance so that they open their authentic self-expression and creativity, and leave feeling a sense of freedom and inner peace.

I am a practicing artist and art teacher. My detailed attention to color and its application over the years has given me a sensitivity to colors and their effects on people in a home or business situation. I have many times assisted friends with color selection and room structuring. Working as a 4-H leader and farm landscaper, I have gained knowledge of appropriate landscape design.

You are an artist! I am an artist with a true love to teach and share the good stuff with others especially children! Watercolor, with pen and ink are the mediums I love most. The art of seeing at a deeper, more detailed level is my main emphasis. My classes tend to have themes based on natural history, with the flora and fauna of the world right around us, the plants, fruit trees, flowers, most common weeds, birds, and insects that we live with. I have a love of vast portions of art history, so I include several bits and pieces of technique and influence from specific artists. My students have ranged in ages from 3 to 73. Most have come to my classes with a desire to draw and paint, but with an uncertainty of their own skill level. I have seen time and time again, with the concentration on really seeing a wonderful freedom to begin, to truly render with confidence.
