Michelle is a great teacher. She really cares about her students and the progress they make. I would highly recommend Michelle for vocal/piano lessons!
My little one is loving her piano lessons! Tailored to her level in a very supportive environment! So glad I found Uprock.
Krista is an amazing teacher and mentor. She is super patient with our daughter and we'd highly recommend her for both piano and voice lessons
My 12 yr old son has been taking piano lessons from Noemi since the beginning of this year and I am so impressed with how my son has progressed every week! Noemi's level of expertise and standard of teaching would exceed anyone's expectation! I highly recommend her!
My first piano lesson was great. Hitomi put me at ease at her home which translated into a good lesson. I would highly recommend her.
I took piano lessons with Hafdís for many years when I was growing up. She instilled the basics of reading notes, correct hand placement, and a love for music! Even though I am not a professional musician today, I can still read music and play a few concert pieces. She adapted well to my level and needs and encouraged me when I felt disappointed with my progress. At one point I switched from Classical to Jazz books in order to coincide with my interests. Her talent, creativity, and patience as a music teacher are unparalleled. I highly recommend Hafdís to anyone looking to learn piano for the first time, refresh skills, or train for something more.
Sakurako is exactly the kind of teacher I was looking for. She is a performing and teaching professional who takes care that all facets of music are covered in her teaching. She has high standards yet is very encouraging to the student. I could not have found a better teacher!
It has always been a musical learning experience beyond the notes on the page for me working with Bob. His knowledge of the history of both the instrument and the music, enriches the learning experience. Bob gives more than just quality music lessons. He shares his in depth knowledge and experience earned over a lifetime of playing and teaching in every lesson.
Amber is the perfect piano teacher. She is always warm and friendly with the kids, gives praise, is patient and plays games to keep them involved. She is in every way a professional teacher, with lovely manners, so an excellent role model, too. I hope we can keep her for years!
I took my daughter to do a first time class and have been taking classes ever since. Noriko is an awesome teacher, she is patient and great with my daughter. My daughter never played the piano before her class with Noriko and she is loving her classes.
Aida is really good with children and my child is engaged when he goes to his lessons. She is able to keep his attention and make the lessons exciting for him. Practicing with him at home is challenging but Aida makes a point to remind me that I should keep it light, since he is so young, and just have him practice for enjoyment. I think that approach helps for him.
We were searching for a teacher who did not treat music as a business or "hustle." David is an excellent teacher who is passionate about music and cares deeply about his students. He is not watching the clock. He is more interested in the student learning the concept and stresses fundamentals. If the class runs over the allotted time, he continues and does not charge any more. Instead, his priority is the student learns. David knows theory and teaching fundamentals. My kids enjoyed their time with him and we highly recommend him as a teacher. We went to the piano academies and a few others and never found a satisfactory teacher. However, David was the best and my kids were much better for the experience.
Joel is one of the most patient, knowledgeable and understanding piano instructors I have ever had the pleasure to teach me piano lessons. If you are wanting to learn how to play the piano or keyboard Joel is the person to teach you.Especially a new beginner or if you want to refamiliarize yourself with the piano or keyboard. I would of gave Joel 10 stars if it would of allowed me to. Darren
I teach elementary music. With Brandon's help, I was able to record the alto part for our holiday musical into the purchased practice-trax, and double myself singing on piano. Then, we adjusted the volume so it stood above the other parts, but did not overpower. This made a world of difference to my 3rd and 4th grade harmonizers, both students and parents loved it! I absolutely could not have done this without Brandon. He is professional, easy to work with, and a fine musician in addition to his technical skills in the studio. His rates are reasonable and I highly recommend him for any studio project, or lessons!
My seven year old son has been taking piano lessons from Tunjay for a little over a year. David started as a beginner. However, he quickly learned to read music and understand the importance of hand position under his teacher’s guidance. In my son’s words, “Mr. T. is awesome. Whenever I don't understand something, he explains it to me.” I highly recommend Mr. Elkhanzade for piano lessons.
I teach piano lessons from beginner to advanced. I charge a $50 per hour payment due. Each lesson includes pedagogy of piano fingering, muscle memory, posture, dexterity, and music reading skills.
My experience at Lafitte Music Center has been wonderful! The atmosphere is inspiring and supportive, and I'm amazed at how much progress I've made. In just two lessons, I went from knowing nothing about piano to surprising myself by what I could do!
I primarily help students learn or develop their piano or clarinet skills. I have enjoyed playing these instruments for almost 12 years and have been fortunate enough to perform all over the United States. Math has a surprising connection to music. As a student of the agricultural sciences, I look forward to sharing my passion for art and math with you.
I'm a high school student who have been having straight A's for two years in a row and experience in playing the piano. I have a great passion for reading and writing, and since I can speak Vietnamese, I can help teach English to Vietnamese people and vice versa as well. Since I'm not a professional, I'm willing to negotiate prices. I'm known by teachers and friends for being responsible, hardworking, and helpful.
I provide piano lessons/theory lessons. For a 30 minute lessons, I charge $25. For an hour lesson, I charge $45. I have 12 years experience of private lessons and performing. I currently attend UC Davis and I am a double major, one of the majors being music. My profile may say I live in Oakland but I repeat. I do not live in Oakland. I live in Davis, CA I am willing to travel but it depends on where to and I do own a keyboard so if the client would like to come to my home, then we can do the lessons there. Anything you want to learn, 98% of the time, I can teach it to you.
I teach how to play on piano and how to read basic notes. I'm not a classical teacher. I teach more how to play nice chords and melody. I'm improving hearing. I teach how to do an improvisation. I'm teaching how to play at churches. I cater to modern music, etc.
