Introduction: Any home that was built prior to 1978 was most likely built with products containing asbestos. A few examples are drywall, the tape and texture used on the drywall, linoleum flooring, sprayed-on acoustic ceilings, floor tiles, and associated mastic glue. If you have water damage or plan on doing any construction in your home, it is a good idea to speak with an abatement contractor.
