My daughter (now an adult with her own daughter) and I Have received the outstanding professional services from Shalamah Yahcove. My daughter had a sports injury from an injury incurred while playing high school basketball. After a few very gentle chiropractic treatments by Shalamah she was ble to return to playing her position ad point guard. I have experienced therapeutic massage several times per year wherein she has performed miracles on the tension of my back and neck after working as a bedside nurse in traditional hospital settings. She is educated in healing practices.She is very I professional and assesses and also Iuses her intuition to move each client toward healing - both physical and spiritual. I appreciate her suggestions related to related to nutrition and other health improvements. She is As a healer, I count on her for health maintenance and inspiration and she always makes time for me. I started receiving her services when I was in my in my 30's 's and now, 25 years later, I am still receiving her healing massage treatments. Shalamah is a true professional. I've had the great pleasure of working with Shalamah both as a colleague at Wilbur Hot Springs and as a client in her private practice. As a colleague, she was wonderful to work with. I scheduled appointments for her clients and her calendar was almost always completely booked. As a client, I continue to see Shalamah regularly because of her expertise in chiropractic care, soft tissue massage and healing work. I've had back issues and joint pain which Dr. Shalamah is helping to alleviate. I am so much better since going to her for treatment at Imhotep Chiropractic in Berkeley. I've only had a few sessions but the difference in my health is fantastic. It is a comfortable setting, she is very accommodating, and the massage and adjustments are relaxing. I look forward to the next session.

My first massage with Shalamah was at Wilbur Hot Spring and then I found out she came to Berkeley once a month, and since then my muscles has been blessed. Shalamah works every single muscle and takes her time to understand the needs of your body. She has strong hands and knows the body. You can jump on that massage table and let it go, Shalamah will take good care of you. This is by far my greatest massage experience.

Yes, I'm a research nerd. Since 1993, Ive studied and viewed the latest research in Complementary Alternative Medicine (CAM); chiropractic and massage population. Once a year since 1993, I looked at the latest research for both chiropractic, massage, exercise, ergonomic etc.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm from a family of hands-on-healers.
