I have always been athletic and in shape until I had my kids within 13 months of each other. All mothers out there can relate to the enormous changes our bodies go through. I was not seeing results by running so I decided to give Vlad a try. Vlad helped me with a great macro program (fats/carbs/protein) in addition to a weekly workout. One month later Ive lost four inches around my waist and four inches everywhere else. My gains have just about doubled in every weighted exercise Ive been taught; my legs and butt are starting to look sculpted, and my upper body/back is really defined. Most importantly, my pelvic floor has been strengthened by 100%! Im amazed! Vlad has given me an excellent fitness program, strong nutritional guidance, and sincere encouragement. The workouts are different every time and he always shows me additional exercises to do on my own. Vlad is no doubt very passionate about his job and genuinely cares to give me the results I am looking for. Vlad explains why I am performing the exercise and shows me exactly which muscles are targeted. He immediately corrects my form and has given me additional corrective training stretches and exercises to implement as well. Vlad seems to be conscientious about my abilities/lack of abilities, and will adjust the workouts accordingly. I met Vlad at Anytime Fitness in Natomas about a year ago, he started offering HIIT training classes in Monday which I started attending. I immediately started really enjoying theses classes and Vlad's training methods. Over the last couple months I started thinking about hiring Vlad for personal training to really take my training to the next level. His wealth of knowledge from nutrition, supplements, weight training, stretching, and pretty much anything else you can think of has greatly transformed my time in the gym and helped me become way more fit. I've been training with Vlad for about a month now, and have already seen rapid gains in strength and muscle endurance. My body is more tone and lean due the nutrition and supplement advice he has give me. My wife is 39 weeks pregnant and she also took advantage of training offered by a lad during her pregnancy. He customized workouts for he to do as she progressed through the pregnancy. He's a great guy, with an awesome attitude. I highly recomend hiring him for training if you're serious about getting in shape. It's not easy, but trust me when I say he will tailor you're training to give you exactly what it is you're looking for from the workouts.Aug 8, 2014
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am always trying to stay on top of the game. I just finished my 2nd certification with NASM, and looking to start my 3rd. I am always trying to read books, articles, magazines about exercise and health. I am building a library at home just for health and fitness.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?When I was in school and college, I would always be planning out my workouts or reading articles about working out. I would not pay attention much in class. My cousin told me that I should become a personal trainer since I love working out so much. Here I am 2 years later, training clients and getting them results!
- What types of customers have you worked with?The most common concern is weight loss. Women are big on what the number on the scale says. This can be misleading sometimes because muscles weighs more then fat and with a training program you can gain muscle and lose fat and your weight might stay the same. That is why it is important to see how you look in the mirror and fit into your clothes. Those are good indicators of weight loss and muscle gains.
