Live music ads such class to an event and Doug is a true pro. He got to the venue early enough to get completely set up. He wore a tux and looked sharp! He played for about 45 people at a sit/stand cocktail birthday party at Lake Chalet in Oakland. He had the volume set perfectly, so that everyone could hear conversations while he grooved in the background. His tip jar was so full that he kept playing for about an hour and it was just wonderful.

We hired Doug Martin to play live background music at our home for a fundraiser. He played for 4 hours on a Friday night. Many of our guests complimented how great he played. He had a well rounded play list.
In addition to being an excellent musician, he was extremely professional. He arrived approximately 30 minutes before the party to set up, so that he would be prepared for when our guests arrived. He even brought two different tuxedos and asked which one we would prefer so he would match our decor. I would absolutely hire Doug again and would happily recommend him to anyone. Doug was so good that one of our dearest friends hired him on the spot to play at her upcoming wedding.

I asked Doug to play music at my mom's 64th surprise casino birthday party. He was the perfect musician to for the occasion or probably any occasion because his music is so soothing and upbeat. He adjusts his volume to not be too loud nor too quiet, it was just right! I and many others who have had the pleasure of Doug performing for their event, have all been more than satisfied, ecstatic!
