Introduction: Congratulations on your engagement, and upcoming wedding. I'm Debra, and I'm an Ordained Minister with American Marriage Ministries, and Universal Life Church, in California. I specialize in making your special day, a beautiful event to remember. This is your day, and I'll be here to assist you with your vows, if needed. I will also confirm that your marriage license is completed correctly, promptly, and filed with the county recorders. I want to make sure your wedding day is everything that you have envisioned. If you would like a candle lighting ceremony, a special prayer, jumping the broom, releasing of doves, etc, just say so, I'm here to serve you. I will arrive at the venue 30 mins - 1 hour prior to start time. I WON'T BE LATE. One less thing for you to worry about. I work with an amazing group of Officiants that are my emergency backup. I had the pleasure of having Debra officiate our wedding. She met with my fiance and I and answered all of our questions. She was very thorough n really put our minds at ease. To put it simply, Debra was amazing! She was very professional and accommodating. We planned our own wedding and she was a godsend! She held our hands through the entire process. Debra made the entire process so easy and stress free that it really lifted a weight off my shoulders, allowing me to enjoy the wedding planning and actual day of the ceremony. She listened to all of our ideas and gave us very helpful suggestions such as jumping the broom which I always wanted to do but had completely slipped my mind during the planning. She made sure to include everything we wanted in our vows. I can’t imagine using another officiant, and we’ll definitely use her for our vow renewal. With Debra’s help we truly had the wedding of our dreams and I can’t thank her enough for that.

Debra was amazing throughout our entire wedding process. The first time I reached out to her I was very impressed with how quickly and professionally she responded. We met her prior to the wedding to make sure it was a good match for everyone and we truly enjoyed our conversation. We felt very comfortable upon meeting her and couldn’t wait for her to be apart of our big day! Debra is very transparent and professional about what to expect for the ceremony and the marriage license process which we really appreciated. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we couldn’t imagine having anyone else officiate our special day!

Debra was absolutely wonderful to work with. I was a nervous " Bride to be", but Debra was very understanding, and professional. She was very warm and personable. Debra met with us to get to know us, and to find out what we wanted our wedding ceremony to look like. She gave us suggestions, but assured us that the ultimate decisions were ours to make. She sent us a copy of the vows for our approval. Debra really made everthing so easy for us. Debra arrived at the venue about an hour prior to the start of our wedding to make sure the license and rings were there and to answer any last minute questions. I knew our wedding ceremony was in good hands with Debra. We were very pleased with her professionalism, and at the end, she felt more like family. We even received a beautiful gift from her to commemorate our wedding. I highly recommend Devra for your wedding officiant. Thank you so much Debra.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My price is comparable to other Officiants. My estimated price is $300. I do offer discounts for weddings that are held Monday through Thursday.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I like to have meeting with the couple via phone, or in person. I want to get to know the couple, and what they want their ceremony to look and feel like. I want them to feel free to ask any questions of me, get to know me, as well as me getting to know them. Are we a good fit to work togather? A questionnaire is provided to assist in getting to know my couple n to get a feel of what they are hoping for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm an Ordained Minister with American Marriage Ministries and Universal Life Church.
