Mark was terrific! Incredibly professional before and during our photo shoot. We even added additional photo requests a day before and he was flexible. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again!Jul 10, 2017Verified
Mark was great to work with for our show in Anaheim! He made our jobs easier when taking professional headshots of providers at the show. I would definitely recommend Mark and his photos turned out great!Aug 28, 2017Verified
I wanted a headshot that looked beautiful and professional. Mark's photos exceeded these expectations. His work is better than anything I've seen out there on the web or in print! Mark is also a pleasure to work with. He has a great sense of humor and it was easy to relax and let my best self come through. Mark also taught me a lot about the art and psychology of the headshot. He knew just how to direct me to communicate exactly what I wanted to say with my headshot. Mark is knowledgable and professional and I highly recommend his service.Jul 31, 2015
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? No, I don't have standard pricing system. Each job is quoted based on multiple factors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?1. I bring my studio to your location. 2. While setting up my studio equipment I talk with you to get to know you better and start to work through the awkwardness of having a stranger take their picture. 3. Once you're feeling comfortable, we start taking shots. I'll encourage you to experiment with different looks, emotions, and angles while we hunt for the perfect shot. All you have to do is follow my coaching and have fun! As we go through your session, we'll stop every once in a while to review the shots we've taken to see what's working and develop a strategy to fix what isn't. I'll need you to speak up and tell my what you are loving and hating. Don't pull any punches, I have a strong ego and can take it. This is all about you. 4. When we're all done, we'll review the selected images one more time and pick out the ones we love and discard the ones we don't. Once I get back home and upload the picks to your private online gallery. You can pick the final images for retouching. 5. After you've picked your favorite/s for retouching I will personally retouch the images and have them ready for you to download within three days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I study under the #1 headshot photographer in the world, Peter Hurley. I'm a member of his Headshot Crew and stay up to date with advances in the field of headshots through weekly meetings with fellow headshot photographers and participation in a mentor program.
